The letter-writing service by the Tiger Beastman has become part of the Xia tribe's Xia celebrations...

The seventh day since the post office in the mountain habitat opened.

The first group of orcs, including the Green-Branched Crow and the Cloud-Walking Sparrow, stood on the road outside the tribe's gate to bid farewell to Lan, who was seeing them off.

Twenty-four messengers, holding the reins of the beasts, climbed onto their backs at the same time.

"Lan! We're off." After the team leader finished speaking, the twenty-three team members behind him chattered away with a jumble of farewell words, showing absolutely no coordination.

Jiang Yunlan smiled, listening attentively to their voices and responding to each one. Finally, she said to the beastmen, "Have a safe journey, Xia awaits your return."

The messengers responded and urged their mounts and the beasts pulling the carts forward.

"诱辱辱辘."

The wind blew up the flags on the side of the car. The flag embroidered with the word "Summer" and the flag embroidered with a five-pointed star swayed in the wind and gradually disappeared into the distance.

The messengers who went out this time all received requests from the commissioning beastmen; they were to bring the beastmen's kin back to their clans.

The messenger caravan sped along the road and came across the inn, which was under construction again. Before they even got close, they heard the orcs who were building it greeting them.

Before evening, they did not stop, running away while responding to the orcs building the houses.

After traveling at full speed for several days, the messenger finally stopped one night near the inn. Next to the still-under-construction inn were a dozen or so shelters where the orcs building it would stay.

The orcs in the construction team recognized the flags on the messenger caravan as Xia's orcs.

The two teams exchanged words for a while, and the orc from the construction team seemed to be deep in thought.

"Stay here tonight, we'll keep watch for you," they said. Then they asked their captain if he could prepare a hearty meal for their people who were about to embark on their journey. That way, they too could enjoy a delicious meal.

The construction team leader answered with action, taking out the prey he had caught from the trap two days earlier and stuffing it into the chef orc's hand.

When they came here from their habitat, they brought plenty of food. It was a supply provided by the tribe, and the teams that went out to build inns received food supplies every season, saving them a lot of copper coins on food. Therefore, the work of building inns was always in high demand.

But most of those foods were dried or pickled, not as tasty as freshly caught prey or freshly gathered plants. They would use the knowledge they learned in school to make traps to catch some prey, or gather wild vegetables in the surrounding area in the evening to treat themselves.

"Use the plants we gathered yesterday to make the vegetarian dishes as well," the construction team leader instructed the head chef, an orc.

On their first mission, the messenger wanted to look after the orcs, including the Green-Branched Crow, just as they had done when they first took on construction missions and happened to pass by and took care of their people.

Two of the orcs in the construction team were newcomers to the Xia tribe and were selected by the team leader to join the team because of their outstanding physical strength.

The two tiger-beastmen were carnivorous beastmen from the same clan. Upon hearing about the messenger team's mission, they approached them during a lull in the team's schedule and asked, "Are you going to the Back Lake Forest?"

Back Lake Forest is near the Minotaur's habitat. Yunxing Yuque and her group will reach the Minotaur's habitat, but they don't need to go to Back Lake Forest. They hesitated for a moment, exchanged glances and whispered a few words before looking up at the two Tiger-Beastmen. "Do you need a message delivery service?"

"Yes! We want to tell our fellow beastmen to come to Xia. The food here is delicious, the orcs are nice, and there are lots of fun things to do!" The two tiger-orcs became excited as they mentioned the traps everyone had helped them build and the particularly interesting spearfishing activity.

The orcs in the team had told the two of them that many things in the Horde were more interesting, and that they would be taken to experience them once construction was finished. They had been looking forward to returning to the Horde with their captain.

The two tiger-beastmen excitedly rattled off a string of words, then sheepishly scratched their tails and said with a smile, "We don't know the language of Xia yet, so we'll have to trouble you to write the letter for us."

Hearing their voices, the beastmen, including Yunxing Yuque, found it hard to refuse the tiger-beastmen who were looking at them expectantly, and decided to agree. It was just a matter of walking a little further; after all, messengers existed to deliver the beastmen's messages.

"I'll write the letter for you," said the messenger, who was most fluent in the language of the Back Lake Forest, as he rummaged through his bag for paper and pen.

The delivery team here is progressing smoothly, and the assessment of the mountain habitat is also progressing smoothly. All the orcs who passed the assessment are learning from their predecessors how to do their jobs well, and they are full of enthusiasm.

Jiang Yunlan readjusted the system of the mountain habitats and refined some of the positions. The orcs who used to manage the habitats now had subordinates and assistants, which greatly reduced their pressure.

Having perfected the mountain habitat system and dealt with some accumulated problems within the tribe, she was no longer as busy as before and gradually had more leisure time to observe the beastmen in the tribe. Whether a tribe is good or bad depends on the state of the beastmen living in the habitat and what troubles they have.

Mo Rong noticed that Lan was spending more time outside, and couldn't help but ask the question that had been nagging at her for days when she saw Lan, "Is Lan planning to go back to the grasslands?"

His voice was low and dejected. Jiang Yunlan could hear the reluctance in his voice, and she looked up at him.

“I’ll go back in a few days. If Feng Er and the others are doing well in their studies, they should have learned how to build ships by now. I need to go back and help them build Xia’s first ship. Xia needs the help of the elves, and I also need to take my people out by ship to search for the nature spirits,” Jiang Yunlan explained.

Of course, before setting sail, she also had to train a group of orcs who could fight on water, as well as orcs who could sail and anchor.

Mo Rong knew what Lan was saying, so she just nodded and kept looking at Lan with her bright light gray eyes.

He is the village chief, an orc who built the mountain habitat. But he is also a citizen of Lan, a member of Lan's tribe, and naturally reluctant to see Lan leave, hoping that Lan will stay in the mountains for a while longer.

However, Xia's orcs always supported Lan's decisions, and so did he. So he smiled and, along with Gray Creek and other orcs who were equally reluctant to part with Lan, prepared Lan's belongings for her departure.

Lan's journey back to the grasslands wasn't far, but they were still worried that Lan wouldn't eat or sleep well on the way. They always wanted to pack more food, soft blankets, pillows, and other items for Lan, and it was easy to accidentally pack too much, about the size of a cartload. The supplies were then carried out by the orcs, including Heitu, who were inspecting the supplies.

Heitu looked at Mo Rong with an expressionless face and said disapprovingly, "We don't need so much stuff for the return trip. Besides, we've already prepared things for Lan."

After she finished speaking, she stood up proudly. She was now the beastman who protected Lan, and she was responsible for arranging many of the items Lan needed. She had prepared everything Lan required ten days in advance.

Upon hearing this, Gray Creek and the other orcs were initially bewildered. Then, after a closer look at the supplies they had brought back, they still couldn't see why they had put too much in the wagon. These were all items that Lan could use.

Jiang Yunlan listened to their conversation and laughed along with Sveta, firmly rejecting their overly enthusiastic concern.

There is a kind of hunger that your people feel you are hungry, and a kind of need that your people feel you need.

Mo Rong, Hui Xiaoxi, Cangmu Yuya and other orcs blinked innocently.
