Chapter 17 Fishing

At dawn, Wu Changyun woke up Fushun. The two of them stared at the morning heat and went to Zhou Huiting's company. They met Zhou Huiting downstairs of the company. She proudly handed the photo to Wu Changyun.

"Tell me, how do you want to repay me?"

Wu Changyun smiled. After this girl told the truth after drinking last time, she seemed to be very familiar with him and Fushun.

After carefully examining the photos in her hand, she found that most of them showed Liu Xiao in close proximity with gangs, and some of them dining together. Zhou Huiting then took out a document and handed it to Wu Changyun, saying, "This is a security company established by a group of street thugs. Their main business is supposedly security services, but in reality, they're engaged in a business of bullying and market domination."

Wu Changyun flipped through two pages of information. He found that this company had many violations of regulations and laws. Even the main business marked was incorrect, and it had been involved in many lawsuits recently.

"Good job, fish find fish and shrimp find shrimp." Wu Changyun put away the information. As expected, the scenes in the photos were all where they and their fellow disciples usually gathered. Liu Xiao was planning to attack him.

"What are you going to do with this guy?" Fushun asked.

"He's just a swindler, just kick him out. Don't forget that our boss is the biggest Chinese detective in Hong Kong." Wu Changyun shook his head. As long as he could confirm Liu Xiao's problem, the other party's fate would be over.

Wu Changyun found a public telephone booth and called Zhuyouzai first, asking him to come to the new venue of the studio. Then he called Du Qifeng and asked him to contact a few part-time cameramen and lighting staff to set up the stage at the new studio. After preparing all this, Wu Changyun also got up and went to the studio. He also wanted to see whether Du Qifeng understood what he meant and whether the new venue was feasible.

"Hey, you just ran away?" Zhou Huiting shouted anxiously when she saw the two of them about to get on the tram while talking.

"I'll come back to thank you later." Wu Changyun stood at the end of the tram and waved to Zhou Huiting.

Zhou Huiting stomped her feet in anger. In fact, she just wanted to make another appointment with the two of them for a meal of skewers and beer, and had no intention of discussing business matters at all.

Arriving on the set, Wu Changyun changed into a gray work jacket and shorts, a sunhat, and a megaphone. The people being filmed were Fushun and a bunch of extras. A moment later, Zhuyouzai, who had rushed in under the scorching sun, shaded his forehead with his palms and sauntered onto the set.

"Wow, it's such a sunny day, isn't it, Wu Changyun, why don't you come out in such hot weather?" Zhuyouzai smiled and waved to Wu Changyun, but he didn't see Liu Xiao around. Instead, Wu Changyun was dressed like a director.

"Why haven't I seen Liu Xiao?"

"He's on sick leave today, so I'll be doing the work for the next two days." Wu Changyun greeted Zhuyouzai and showed him some samples.

Most of the sample footage was borrowed, with only the opening segment being shot by Wu Changyun at the last minute.

Zhuyouzai looked at it and nodded, saying, "It's a good shot, very good. I didn't realize you have the potential to be a director."

"No, I'm nothing. The main thing is that this assistant director has superb skills." Wu Changyun took the opportunity to push Du Qifeng out. Compared to himself, the other party was the assistant director appointed by Liu Xiao.

Wu Changyun showed Zhu Youzi the revised script outline and the new location. Zhu Youzi's face was covered in sweat, and he looked a little impatient. Zhu Youzi pointed at a nearby parasol and waved. The staff pulled the large umbrella from the ground and held it over Zhu Youzi's head, shielding them from the scorching sun.

"You guys did a really good job. Tell me, what is it that you want me to do today?" Zhuyouzai asked with a slightly serious expression.

Wu Changyun licked his lips and pointed at Fushun and the extras who were filming and said, "Brother Zai, let's take a look at them again."

"What are you looking at? I'm going to be sunburned to death. You really want to escape from me, right?" Brother Zai pointed his finger at Wu Changyun's nose.

Unexpectedly, this guy who could be so friendly with the British would turn against them so quickly. Unfortunately, it was too hot today. Wu Changyun was considering whether to hand in the information in his hand when Shi Lizhou, the villain actor originally selected by Liu Xiao, finally arrived. Wu Changyun thought he came at the right time. This villain, who was paid a whopping HK$80,000, ran over wearing a blue and yellow flowered shirt and a pair of sunglasses, pointing and saying as he ran, "Damn it, you want to leave me behind when filming starts, and you even changed the location, you bastard."

"Here! Here!"

Wu Changyun shouted at Shi Lizhou and pulled him over. Shi Lizhou took off his glasses, glanced at Wu Changyun and said, "So you're the one who can't die from falling. You're amazing."

Wu Changyun responded with a smile: "No comparison with you."

It seems that this guy has also been influenced by Liu Xiao and regards himself and investors as fools. However, this is not surprising. In Liu Xiao's eyes, investors are just fools with a lot of money. As for the so-called leading actor Wu Changyun, he is just an unknown minor role who was lucky enough to make a hot news recently.

Zhuyouzai had no interest in this guy at first. He had a lot of businesses under his control, and his attitude towards movies was the same as the answer he got when Wu Changyun asked him before.

"How did you find this place? Didn't they tell you about the actor changes?" Wu Changyun asked tentatively.

"Alright, that bastard Liu Xiao really did trick me and wanted to take my share for himself," Shi Lizhou cursed, shouting, "Who's the villain replacing me? Who is it?"
