Zhuyouzi glanced at Liu Xiao from a distance and began to flip through the documents in his hand. He only flipped through two pages before stopping. He knew he had been deceived by someone, and it was the kind of lowly liar that Lei Luo had told him about.
Zhuyouzai regretted his decision. He had thought that with his reputation in Hong Kong, no one would dare to touch him, even if they had a lantern. But there was a fool who didn't care about his life in front of him. Zhuyouzai couldn't justify himself to Lei Luo. Zhuyouzai didn't rush to stop Liu Xiao. He just looked up at the hateful guy in front of him indifferently, and calculated the location of the back mountain in his mind.
When Liu Xiao saw Wu Changyun grinning beside Zhuyouzai, he immediately understood and said tentatively, "Brother Zai, let me explain."
Zhuyouzi ignored him and tried to turn away, but Liu Xiao grabbed Zhuyouzi's thigh. Then, as if to kill him, Shi Lizhou ran over, grabbed Liu Xiao's hair, and started cursing. The scene was as exciting as a group of women buying groceries. If there was one word to describe Zhuyouzi's mood at the moment, it would be gushing.
"Throw yourself at your mother, you poor bastard."
"Let go, you're courting death."
Zhuyouzai kicked and stomped his fists. He had never messed up anything Lei Luo had asked him to do, but this time he lost all his face.
Zhuyouzi subconsciously reached for his waist. Even if he fired a gun here, no one would hold him responsible. But Wu Changyun knew that this place was a temporary location, and if it wasn't handled properly, it would become a big news. So he quickly stopped Zhuyouzi, who looked at Wu Changyun with a bad face.
It was not until Wu Changyun said that he had a solution that Zhuyouzai sat down and listened to Wu Changyun calmly. The two of them walked into the temporary director's room.
When Zhuyouzai saw Liu Xiao and Shi Lizhou kneeling at the door, he took out his cell phone and made a call, then continued to listen to Wu Changyun's speech.
"Brother Zai, as you can see, our crew is still running, and the films we shoot are guaranteed to be above the market level. When I noticed the problem, I had already re-hired the screenwriter and the actor who played the villain to ensure that the entire film can be completed within the expected time." Wu Changyun said after taking a sip of tea.
"How sure are you?" Zhuyouzai had no other choice at this moment. After experiencing this incident, he had to re-examine the young man in front of him. To outsiders, it was just a coincidence, but when the whole thing was connected, it was not difficult to guess that this was a trap set by Wu Changyun for Liu Xiao, exposing the true face of this villain.
"Conservatively speaking, 80%."
"So confident." Zhuyouzai laughed. He had no idea where Wu Changyun got his confidence from.
"Eighty percent." Wu Changyun said again.
If it were before, Zhuyouzai might have doubted the young man in front of him, but now Wu Changyun's evaluation in Zhuyouzai's heart has risen. This man is not only brave but also strategic, and is even good at judging the situation. He even has some of the shadow of Luo Ge when he was young. If the other party was not determined to act, he would have intended to recommend Wu Changyun to Lei Luo. Being a detective is not bad either.
"Okay, I believe you. I'll come to you later when I finish my work." Zhuyouzai nodded.
Wu Changyun reminded him, "I'm not in the martial arts industry anymore. I've moved. I'll write down the address for you."
"Okay, I'll give you something nice later." Zhuyouzi put the small notebook with the address written on it back into his jacket pocket. When he stood up, two strangers were waiting outside the door. They were both well-built and well-mannered. At first glance, they were plainclothes officers from the Royal British Police. They grabbed Liu Xiao and Shi Lizhou and put them in the car. Zhuyouzi said goodbye to Wu Changyun and drove away from the set.
Wu Changyun continued to sit in the director's office drinking tea until Fu Shun and Du Qifeng walked in from the door.
"What happened?" Du Qifeng asked.
"It's done. Now we have the final say here. We can shoot this movie however we want." Wu Changyong said, tapping the table with his fingers.
"Fuck Liu Xiao, hahaha." Fu Shun struggled for a long time, then collapsed on the chair, patted his belly and laughed.
"Friends, our movie will definitely be a big hit at the box office." Wu Changyun said. The issue that needs to be considered now is how to make the movie well, at least better than Wu Gao's group, otherwise the boasts he and Zhu Youzai made will not be able to be made up.
I think the most troublesome problem now is still the script. Huang Bingyao has not replied yet, and Wu Changyun doesn't want to wait any longer.
"The filming will officially start tomorrow." Wu Changyun, as the director and leading actor, officially confirmed the start date.
Now, as long as Wu Changyun transfers the deposit to Huang Zhengli who is far away in South Korea, and waits until the other party arrives before filming the villain's scenes, he can save money. It was great that he and Huang Zhengli agreed to settle the bill on a weekly basis.
That afternoon, Du Qifeng disbanded the part-time filming team he hired, and the official crew would be able to start filming the next day.
Wu Changyun and Fushun took the tram all the way home. The road was bumpy. Wu Changyun looked at the scenery outside the window. There were high-rise buildings under construction and various Hong Kong-style shop signs, such as Hong Kong Island Ice House, Dafeng Rice Shop, Liu Ji Store, as well as the XX Bank and XX Hotel with colorful lights.
"This city is shining with gold and jade." Wu Changyun exclaimed.
"Yes, there are rich people everywhere, and there are piles of money waiting for us to make." Fushun smiled and leaned close to Wu Changyun.
"Why are you so worldly, damn it?"
"I am worldly and lowly."
The two men looked at each other with wicked smiles, both of them having the urge to have a great fight.
When they arrived at the rental house, the old lady was picking vegetable leaves at the door. When she saw Wu Changyun and Fushun coming back, she asked casually, "You're back. Do you want to eat the food that grandma cooked?"
