Chapter 2 Big Brother

"Xiao Liuzi, put on your clothes and bring buckets of water for everyone." The eldest brother Long Jichao ordered.

Fushun saw Wu Changyun's dazed expression, as if he had just woken up, but he didn't respond for a long time. Fushun pushed Wu Changyun and leaned over to ask, "What's wrong with you? Are you sleep deprived?"

Wu Jiawan was no stranger to the time-travel routine. It was a common tactic not only in novels but also in online dramas. But when it happened to him, he felt a special kind of awkwardness.

"I'm fine." Wu Jiawan said politely.

"Xiao Liuzi, water." Long Jichao's tone was steady and forceful. This matter could not be refused.

Seeing that Wu Changyun still didn't respond for a long time, Fushun couldn't stand it anymore and whispered, "Changyun, what's wrong with you? Senior Brother is calling you, are you feeling unwell?"

"Chang Yun? Xiao Liuzi? Calling me?"

It seems that he has been waiting for me to fetch water for a long time. Wu Jiawan hesitated whether to get off the bed. Not to mention that he is young now, no one dared to tell him to do anything when he was in school.

Well, after thinking about it, this bucket of water is for the owner of this body.

Wu Jiawan got out of bed and tried the weight of the bucket. He had quite some strength in his body and could easily carry a full bucket of water with one hand.

Recalling his own frustrating life in the past, Wu Jiawan felt a mixture of worry and an indescribable sense of freshness. Looking at the eldest brother in front of him, who was younger than he actually was, he asked jokingly, "Elder brother, what's your name?"

"Hahaha, you're stupid, Liuzi is stupid today."

"Maybe everyone wants to form a team and no longer recognize the eldest brother."

The fellow disciples found it funny and started to make jokes.

Long Jichao had a gloomy expression on his face, but although he was still young, he kept his anger to himself and did not show it on his face at all.

While everyone was washing their faces, Long Jichao placed the washbasin next to Wu Changyun and asked casually, "What's wrong? Are you feeling unruly? Don't you want to perform with your fellow apprentices anymore?"

Wu Jiawan still didn't understand the situation at this time, so he could only respond in a disjointed manner, trying not to ruin the original host's fate.

After the other brothers had finished packing, Wu Jiawan was the last one to leave. Glancing at the other brothers gathered near the training equipment, Wu Jiawan walked over to the old man reading a newspaper at the door and glanced at the contents of the paper from behind.

Hong Kong star? Bruce Lee?

Wu Jiawan became increasingly alarmed as she read. She hurriedly snatched the newspaper and carefully examined the date. It was July 23, 1973, exactly three days after Bruce Lee's death. Wu Jiawan was naturally aware of this historic moment; Bruce Lee had a profound influence on Hong Kong and even world cinema.

It's a shame; if Bruce Lee were still alive, the image of Chinese people in film and television would have been introduced to international audiences much sooner. But thinking of Bruce Lee, Wu Jiawan can't help but think of Jackie Chan. Borrowing a Dubai Prince's sports car, using the Sydney Opera House for filming, and even using government police to maintain order—it's quite impressive. Think of Tom Cruise in the Mission: Impossible series being rejected when he wanted to film there. It's frustrating to compare yourself to others.

"Boy, what are you doing?"

The old man in the white vest slapped the back of Wu Jiawan's hand, snatched the newspaper back, and kicked Wu Jiawan and said, "You little rascal, you don't practice martial arts, are you asking for a beating from your master?"

"Practice, practice."

Judging from past experience, it is very likely that I was sent to the martial arts industry by my parents.

Back in the lobby, the cement floor and the old-style wooden buildings reminded Wu Jiawan of the scene in a large mansion, except that it lacked the elegance of life. There were only wooden stakes for practicing martial arts, and not even a coffee table.

Fushun said while squatting in a horse stance, "Chang Yun, you don't seem to be okay today. Do you not want to go to the theater?"

"Going to the theater? What's going on?"

"Little Hua Lian, sing Bamboo Forest Trick tomorrow."

Having never heard of the Bamboo Forest Strategy, Wu Jiawan casually agreed to Fushun's request, but his heart was in turmoil. First of all, with his current knowledge, he definitely couldn't perform the Bamboo Forest Strategy. He didn't even know what to do on stage. He remembered that his martial arts masters in the past had always been very strict. Was it too late to say that he had lost his memory now? What if he got kicked out?

Although this is essentially a martial arts theater, it is named after the Hong Kong Government Academy of Drama, so the academy's rules must be followed.

He is definitely not good at drama, maybe he can take this opportunity to make some noise, anyway, he is not interested in it, it would be best if he could act in a movie.

Wu Jiawan was determined to change the honest character of the previous owner of this body and make a scene, showing his master his determination not to act in a play. At the thought of this, Wu Jiawan's legs went weak, and he threw down his pole and shouted, "I don't want to act in plays anymore. I want to act in movies."

None of my fellow disciples have ever seen this kind of scene before, so why don’t you just stop performing it?

Long Jichao was mature beyond his years. He walked over with a gloomy face and slapped Wu Jiawan in the face before she could react. He slapped her without blushing or shaking her hands, and continued to look arrogant.

Wu Jiawan could have dodged it, but his body was not in good condition and he failed to evade completely, so he was knocked to the ground by Long Jichao with a slap.

"You've lost your mind today, haven't you? I'm here to teach you a lesson on behalf of the Master. If you dare to mention what I just said in front of the Master, I'll cripple you."

Long Jichao has been thinking about making a name for himself in the martial arts world for the longest time. Tomorrow is his big day to come to the fore, and he won't allow anyone else to interfere. He has other brothers and sisters who will all make a living from this in the future.

It seems that Wu Changyun was originally a bullied person. Wu Jiawan vaguely had this feeling. He didn't raise his hand to hit the bad guy in the face. But Long Jichao hit him without any scruples. He just raised his hand and hit him. He really had control over the former owner of this body.
