Early in the morning, Wu Changyun sat in his rental house, writing and drawing on paper with a pen, connecting concise sentences with lines and arrows. This was the prototype of a new script.
"Brother Chang Yun, are you looking for me?" Chang Sihu walked in, rubbing his hands and licking his lips.
"Yes, I'm looking for you. I do have something to tell you."
Wu Changyun pointed to the bench next to him and motioned Chang Sihu to sit there.
"How is your business lately?" Wu Changyun asked.
"Fortunately, thanks to you, my business is pretty good."
Wu Changyun could see that Chang Sihu was wary of him, but now they were talking about business, so Wu Changyun said frankly: "How good can your business be? I think I'm lucky to be able to support you brothers."
Seeing Wu Changyun sigh, Chang Sihu quickly replied: "I am satisfied as long as I can support my brothers."
"Your craftsmanship is barely passable, but you're not cut out for business. You don't have any sense of crisis at all."
In the local market, some high-quality fast food restaurants have not yet appeared. Only stores like Chang Sihu can guarantee revenue. If they really wait for brands like McDonald's to enter the market, there will be no way to survive. Unfortunately, Wu Changyun has no talent for business management. He intends to train Fushun, but the American fast food side does not give him extra time.
"I want you to expand your business."
"Expanding business? Opening a new store?"
"Yes."
Wu Changyun nodded. The last time that Bo Hao was causing trouble for him, Chang Sihu had indirectly helped him block the knife. After all, at that critical moment, who could have predicted that the residents of the community would stand up for them later.
"This..." Chang Sihu was a little embarrassed.
"I'll pay, and if you're willing to help me take care of the store and subsequent matters, I can give you 50% of the profits. If you also want to pay, we can calculate the dividends based on the investment."
"I'm afraid I can't do it."
"I'm not counting on you to do it." Wu Changyun took off his glasses nonchalantly, put them away in his glasses case, and then wrote down the famous songs of the streets and regions in his notebook. They were all relatively prosperous areas. Then Wu Changyun tore off the page and handed it to Chang Sihu, asking casually, "Didn't your father run a shop before? How old is he?"
“Almost 70.”
"Oh, then don't bother the old man. By the way, are you going to do it or not?" Wu Changyun thought about it for a long time, but Chang Sihu seemed to have not given him a definite answer.
"We're just some of the gangsters out there. We didn't have any big bosses to follow us before, but now we're following you, the boss. No matter what you say, we'll do it at all costs."
Wu Changyun resisted the urge to curse. After all, cursing at this time might hurt Chang Sihu's fragile heart. Wu Changyun calmed down and said, "We are in a society ruled by law now. Don't come out to mix with others at every turn. We are doing legitimate business. Didn't you promise me that you would be a good person in the future?"
Wu Changyun waved Chang Sihu to come closer to him. This guy was a little stupid towards him. If he were asked to bully others in the market, he would not be so obedient. This might be the restraint of Chang Sihu's underworld mentality.
"I'm not your boss. Underworld bosses always trick their underlings into taking the blame. I'll give you money to start a business, and we'll split the profits. If you're willing, you can call me Chang Yun from now on."
"It's better to call him Brother Yun, Hello Brother Yun." Chang Sihu nodded excitedly.
Chang Sihu has never had anyone around him who can do what he says in his life. If he wants to make a movie, he can be the protagonist. If he wants to make money, he can make a lot of money. He is very powerful and good at standing up for the weak. He also treats everyone equally. He is like a hero who came out of a TV series. Wu Changyun meets all of Chang Sihu's definitions of this.
Wu Changyun wanted to open a store first. The initial preparation work for a store is very time-consuming. Even if the store is rented, there is still work to be done, such as redecorating, recruiting staff, training new employees, etc. These tasks are tedious and time-consuming. However, at least Chang Sihu did not lose money on the store he opened.
As for the remaining money, Wu Changyun planned to give it to Fushun to purchase real estate. At present, houses in Hong Kong are still easy to rent, so he would start with the simplest ones.
In the afternoon, Wu Changyun and Fushun headed directly to Mount Kellett. They followed the mountain path through greenery, past numerous villas along the roadside. Only a few dozen had been sold, and they were occupied by prominent individuals. After inquiring about housing prices, they discovered that even in the 1970s, prices here were still quite high, ranging from 400,000 to 800,000. With Wu Changyun's current assets, the payback period for a property here would be too long. However, living here was still very cost-effective, with an elegant and pleasant environment and the surrounding area full of celebrities. Many well-known Hong Kong stars lived here in the 1980s.
"Why don't we buy a house here?"
"Here? Okay, but I can't always live in a rented house."
"Okay."
The two continued to wander the mountain for a long time, passing many apartment designs that looked similar from the outside, but with vastly different prices. After a long time of searching, Wu Changyun finally found a large apartment. Entering from the main entrance, he entered the courtyard, which had lawns, greenery, and a swimming pool. The two-story house was decorated in a simple black and white style. The first floor was entirely glass, offering a wide view. The open kitchen inside made the first floor hall very spacious, and the second floor contained three bedrooms.
"How much does this house cost?" Wu Changyun asked.
"The house you are looking at now is different from the previous ones. This is our VIP area, and this one is 1.23 million." The salesperson looked at the car the two men were driving and their clothes, and basically concluded that they were nouveau riche, so he didn't remind them in advance.
Wu Changyun also saw through the salesperson's little trick. He wanted to take advantage of people's desire to save face, but unfortunately he didn't buy it.
