Wu Changyun sat on the bench, bored, counting the grain on the wooden table. The stainless steel cup on the table was showing silver ripples. The wooden door creaked open again. Yuan Aiga touched Wu Changyun's elbow, reminding him to cheer up.
"Hello, teachers. My name is Bai Lihui and I am 23 years old." The girl said and bowed.
Zhou Xujiang, who was sitting to Wu Changyun's right, cleared his throat and said, "Please perform."
"Performance? Performance..." Bai Lihui repeated the words in her mouth and looked at the three teachers in front of her.
"You can imagine a scene and plot yourself."
"Oh, yes, teacher."
Bai Lihui nodded. Her plain attire matched her appearance; she didn't seem particularly impressive. Even from the moment she walked in, Wu Changyun had already determined that she didn't fit the role in the play. The reason for this was that the model card hadn't been selected by Wu Changyun.
"Now I will act out a scene where my house is robbed. Teacher, I'm starting now."
Bai Lihui turned the handle out of thin air, walked into the door, and pretended to take off her shoes and hang up her clothes. Then she looked in one direction with a focused gaze, and then burst into a pig-slaughtering scream.
"There's a thief! Help!"
Bai Lihui shouted as she grabbed the imaginary thief, her steps moving with seemingly great effort. Finally, she suddenly rolled her eyes and collapsed onto the hard concrete floor, not caring about it.
"I'm done, Sensei."
"Um."
Zhou Xujiang nodded and looked at Wu Changyun. Seeing Wu Changyun's noncommittal expression, Yuan Aijia had nothing to say.
"Wait for the news. You go out first. Next one."
Zhou Xujiang shouted, and then another girl walked in.
"Hello, teacher. My name is Hu Yinmeng."
Wu Changyun looked up at the woman before him, wearing dark eye makeup. She had the beauty of a classically wealthy young lady, and a dignified, unassuming demeanor. His first impression was her beauty, but then he felt a chill run down his spine. As he met her gaze again, he felt as if the woman before him had read his heart.
"This person is definitely not an ordinary person." Wu Changyun made such an evaluation in his heart.
Zhou Xujiang was also very interested in Hu Yinmeng, at least conquering him sensorily.
"I previously studied at Seton Hall University in New Jersey and studied at the New York Model Academy for a year. I just returned to Hong Kong this year." Hu Yinmeng replied. Because of her previous accumulation abroad, she gradually received some acting roles after returning to Hong Kong. However, the scripts were too clichéd and she was not very satisfied with the roles. It was Yuan Aiga who made an exception and showed her part of the plot, which attracted Hu Yinmeng's attention.
"Let's put it this way. The scene you are in now is at home. Your husband comes home after a hard day's work. Robbers break into the house and kill your husband in front of you." Wu Changyun explained. This scene is actually very close to the opening of "The Sixth Sense". He also wanted to see if Hu Yinmeng could rise to this role.
"Okay, teacher." Hu Yinmeng nodded.
This is one of the few speeches made by Wu Changyun.
Hu Yinmeng was wearing a short white trench coat and high leather boots, giving her the sophisticated look of a city lady. She walked from one end to the other, without much affectation, maintaining a natural, sweet smile. She greeted her nonexistent husband, her hand moving as if she were accepting something. Then, as she walked, she faced one direction, displaying a variety of charming expressions. Then, she crossed her arms in front of her, and a look of fear flashed in her eyes. She screamed, covering her lips, and fell onto the stool. Unfortunately, there were no tears in her eyes. Wu Changyun could tell she was trying.
After the performance, Wu Changyun applauded Hu Yinmeng. Actually, her acting didn't move Wu Changyun in any way; her performance was ordinary, just like in everyday life. Hu Yinmeng is very good at using her strengths. Her beauty gives her a pitiful feeling that would move any man, and this is perhaps what the audience wants to see.
"Very good, you passed this round. We will contact you later."
Zhou Xujiang marked behind Hu Yinmeng's name. Hu Yinmeng was not surprised by this result. He expressed his gratitude and left.
What surprised Wu Changyun even more was the next actress, her name was Takigawa Yumi. She tied her hair behind her head, and her genuine willow-leaf eyebrows matched with delicate facial features. Looking into her eyes would give people a hazy and intoxicated feeling, especially in this season. Takigawa Yumi wore a pair of shorts that revealed her plump and white thighs. The more you looked down, the more the lines became convergent, until her slender ankles and delicate feet.
"Hello, three teachers." Takigawa Yumi said with a smile.
Both Zhou Xujiang and Wu Changyun couldn't help but have wild thoughts about the beauty in front of them. Yuan Aijia's expression became more serious, interrupting their viewing.
"Please start your performance." Yuan Aijia said.
While watching Takigawa Yumi's performance, Wu Changyun pondered a question. In this play, the heroine's most important role is expressing her longing for her deceased husband. He saw more tenderness in Takigawa Yumi's performance. It was hard for Wu Changyun to imagine what expression such a sunny beauty would show when faced with a tragic blow. If a sexy heroine was needed, Wu Changyun would vote for it without hesitation.
After Takigawa Yumi's performance ended, Wu Changyun was still immersed in his previous analysis, and Zhou Xujiang made the decision to let the other party pass.
Through her resume, Wu Changyun learned that Yumi Takigawa is a Japanese singer and actress. Perhaps because Hong Kong movies have had such a huge influence recently, many Japanese and Korean stars have come to Hong Kong to learn from each other.
