In the past, when Li’s family asked Li Xu when he would leave, he replied that he would leave when he saw the signal.
After seeing this news, Li's family thought this was the signal he had been waiting for.
So when everyone got off work that night, the first thing they did was to ask Li Xu "Are you leaving in the next two days?"

"The end of next month."
