Chapter 139 Victory in Battle! An Even Greater Crisis!

The siren's eyes darted around, and she stammered, "I... I was accidentally stabbed while fighting with humans, so I've been hiding here."

Han San snorted coldly: "Is that really all there is to it?"

At this moment, the timid siren interjected, "General, he looks badly injured, he probably isn't lying."

Han San glared at the timid sea monster: "What do you know!"

Just then, the wounded siren suddenly sprang up, pulled out a dagger, and stabbed at Han San.

Han San reacted swiftly, grabbing the timid sea monster beside him to block the fatal blow.

The timid siren stared wide-eyed in terror. "General, you..." Before she could finish speaking, the dagger had already pierced his body.

Taking advantage of the opportunity, Han San struck back, knocking the injured sea monster to the ground.

"Hmph, I knew something was off about you guys a long time ago! Did you really think I was stupid?" Han San sneered.

The wounded siren lay on the ground, looking at Han San with resentment.

The timid siren's breath grew weaker and weaker, her eyes filled with resentment towards Han San.

He worked diligently for Han San in his daily life, but he never expected to end up like this.

He opened his mouth, as if to say something, but could only spit out mouthfuls of blood.

Han San didn't even glance at him, but stared intently at the injured sea monster, and said, "Tell me, why did you betray me?"

The wounded siren burst into laughter, and with her laughter, her skin began to peel away, revealing the face of a human woman.

"So you're human. No wonder. How dare someone betray me?" Han San said through gritted teeth.

A woman holding a dagger emerged from the darkness and sneered, "Alas! What a pity, I couldn't kill you."

Han San sneered disdainfully: "You think you can take my life?"

After saying that, Han San looked the woman up and down with ill intent, and lewdly said, "You have a pretty good figure. I've never tried a human woman before, so today is the perfect opportunity..."

The woman laughed angrily: "Oh? You think you still have a chance?"

Han San frowned, about to speak, when he suddenly heard the sound of crossbow bolts piercing the air from the darkness.

"Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!" Several crossbow bolts shot straight toward Han San.

With lightning speed, Han San grabbed the corpse of the already dead, cowardly sea monster and used it to block the incoming crossbow bolt.

"You bunch of idiots!" Han San roared.

Upon seeing this, the human women wielding crossbows fired another volley of arrows.

Han San dodged while trying to rush towards them.

The other sea monsters beside them were not so lucky; they were all hit by arrows and fell to the ground like hedgehogs.

Upon seeing this, Han San's expression changed drastically, and he shouted, "Get out of the cabin immediately!"

The sea monsters hurriedly turned and retreated to the deck, and in the chaos, several more sea monsters were hit by arrows and fell down.

The human women pressed closer, firing crossbow bolts continuously.

Han San led the remaining sea monsters back to the deck.

Seeing the loss of many of his brothers, he was so angry that his eyes turned red.

“You damned humans! I’ll skin you alive!” he roared.

After saying that, Han San drew his Frost Blade and lunged at the women who had just come out of the cabin.

But he didn't notice that a human male who had been lying dead on the ground suddenly opened his eyes.

He rose with lightning speed, gripping a halberd that glowed red, and thrust it toward Han San's back.

Han San was only focused on attacking the women in front of him and was completely unaware of the danger behind him.

"Thud!" The halberd pierced Han San's body, and he let out a painful roar.

"Who? How dare you ambush me from behind!" Han San turned around with difficulty.

The human male who had just been lying on the ground suddenly came back to life.

Han San glared at him and roared, "Who...who are you?"

He looked resentful and gritted his teeth, never expecting that someone as clever as him would be outmaneuvered several times today.

The human male looked at Han San without saying a word.

He simply thrust the halberd in his hand again, making it pierce even deeper.

Han San's face contorted in pain. "Ah! I'll tear you to pieces!"

After saying that, Han Sanqiang endured the excruciating pain and brandished his icy longsword in an attempt to retaliate.

However, the blood gushing from the wound caused his strength to rapidly diminish.

Just then, the human male suddenly pulled out his halberd, and Han San let out another scream.

"Die!" the human male roared, raising his halberd once more to attack Han San's head.

Han San staggered, trying to fight back to the death.

But now his strength was almost gone, and the icy longsword in his hand had become incredibly heavy.

The human male seized the opportunity and swung his halberd with force.

Han San's head flew off instantly, splattering blood everywhere.

Han San stared wide-eyed at the slowly collapsing body.

"What's going on? Why do I feel like I'm flying?" Han San's consciousness was plunged into extreme confusion and fear.

No one told him what had happened, and even if they did, it wouldn't change the fact that he was dead.

The other sea monsters were terrified when they saw this and scattered in all directions.

But how could Wang Fan and his group, who had prepared for so long, let them go so easily?

"Chase them! Don't let any of them escape!" Wang Fan roared, leading the women in pursuit of the fleeing sea monsters.

Chaos erupted on the deck, with shouts of battle rising and falling.

The sirens fled desperately ahead, and in the chaos, some were trampled underfoot by their companions.

Wang Fan and his men pursued relentlessly, their crossbow bolts raining down on the sea monster like locusts.
