The hall fell silent for a moment, and everyone looked at each other in bewilderment.

"With the Fire Kingdom's military strength and the combined forces of the Ice Plains, what do we have to fear from that mere pseudo-god force? Yet you are here boosting the morale of others while diminishing your own!"
Lie Yan's eyes widened in anger as he roared, "Don't you dare spout such nonsense! I, Lie Yan, have been wholeheartedly fighting against the false god and have never shown any intention of backing down."
"This aggressive attack is far too reckless, clearly risking the lives of countless warriors! Your Yan family has always acted arrogantly, disregarding the lives of others, which is why you have come up with such an unwise strategy!"
The Yan family representative slammed his hand on the table, causing the cups and saucers on the table to tremble.
He glared at them angrily and roared, "Lie Yan, stop slandering my Yan family!"
"You're so opposed to a direct attack, you must have ulterior motives, right? Perhaps you want to preserve your own strength and reap the benefits later?"
Lie Yan trembled with rage, pointing at the Yan family representative's nose and saying, "You...you are simply unreasonable! I, Lie Yan, have devoted myself to the Fire Kingdom and to fighting against the false god, yet you judge me with such petty thoughts!"
The atmosphere in the hall instantly became tense.
Both the Yan family and the Lie Yan faction stood up, glaring at each other, looking ready to fight at the slightest provocation.
The representatives of other factions, seeing this, all showed expressions of worry.
Some tried to step forward and persuade them, while others watched from the sidelines, unsure of what to do.
The princess's face turned extremely ugly. She suddenly stood up, slammed her hand on the table, and shouted, "Enough! All of you, stop right now!"
"With a formidable enemy at hand, instead of thinking about how to fight the false god, you're fighting amongst yourselves here. What kind of behavior is this! If you continue like this, don't blame me for being impolite!"
Under the princess's imposing presence, both sides slowly sat down.
But he still glared at the other person, muttering curses under his breath.
The princess took a deep breath and said, "We are now facing a common enemy. If we fall into disarray internally, it will only cause pain to our loved ones and joy to our enemies."
"We should put aside past grievances and discuss countermeasures together, instead of blaming each other and fighting to the death!"
Wang Fan watched this scene with a sense of unease.
Before the cooperation had even truly begun, the various factions were already at odds.

The Yan family representative snorted coldly and turned his head away, but at least he didn't say anything more in rebuttal.
Lie Yan took a deep breath, suppressed his anger, and sat back down.
