"Interesting," Wang Fan thought to himself.
He really didn't expect that the leader of the skeletons would have the strength of the seventh rank, while the other ordinary skeletons also had the strength of the fifth rank.
Although Wang Fan was well-versed in martial arts, he only used 10% of his power to easily withstand the attack.
But even from this brief exchange, he could see how powerful these skeletons were.
Wang Fan knew that if they slacked off even slightly, their group would likely find themselves in a tough fight.
At that moment, he shouted, "Listen up, everyone! Let's finish this quickly!"
After speaking, Wang Fan's aura suddenly surged.
The surging power spread out like a raging tide, revealing the terrifying pressure of a tenth-level expert.
He charged towards the leader of the skeletons like a streak of blood-red meteor.
The skeleton leader seemed to have also sensed the deadly threat posed by Wang Fan.
Bloodshot light flickered in his empty eye sockets, and he gripped the battle axe tightly with both hands, gathering all his strength.
It slashed fiercely down at Wang Fan, and a blade of axe light wrapped in black eerie light roared out.
Wherever it passed, the air seemed to be cut by a sharp blade, making a hissing sound.
Wang Fan, however, was not afraid at all. He drew a brilliant blood-red arc with his Bloodthirsty Halberd and collided with the axe light.
In an instant, it seemed as if the world had lost its color, and an intense light burst forth, stinging people's eyes.
With a deafening roar, the axe beam was instantly shattered, turning into countless black fragments that dissipated into the air.
Wang Fan's figure continued to rush forward like a ghost, and in the blink of an eye, he arrived in front of the skeleton leader.
The Bloodthirsty Halberd thrust out suddenly, piercing directly through the skeleton leader's chest cavity.
A flash of crimson light appeared on the tip of the halberd, and the skeleton leader's frame was instantly struck as if by lightning.
With a series of crisp "crackling" sounds, it turned into countless fragments of bone scattered all over the ground.
Seeing Wang Fan's incredible prowess, the crowd's morale soared, and they all went all out.
Under the combined attack of Wang Fan and the others, the seemingly endless horde of skeleton warriors was quickly wiped out.
The castle's passageways were filled with broken skeletons.
The black-robed figure on the skull throne, who had initially displayed a mocking and disdainful expression, now showed a hint of surprise in his eyes.
He never expected that these uninvited guests would be able to eliminate his carefully arranged skeleton warriors so quickly.
The man in black narrowed his eyes slightly, the eerie light in them flickering more intensely, as if he were brewing some kind of conspiracy.
At this moment, Wang Fan looked up and gazed in the direction of the Skull Throne.
Although separated by darkness and distance, he could feel the watchful gaze, like needles pricking his back.
"Let's go deeper," Wang Fan said in a low voice, frowning.
Everyone nodded without hesitation and followed closely behind Wang Fan, continuing to venture deeper into the castle.
As they ventured deeper into the passage, the skeletons appearing on either side grew increasingly enormous.
The skeletons' bones were as thick as tree trunks.
Some skulls are even taller than a person, and the empty eye sockets seem to still retain the ferocity of their lives.
Looking at these enormous skeletons, Wang Fan was filled with doubt. He thought to himself, "These skeletons must have been extremely powerful when they were alive. This castle is probably not just a simple stronghold. There may be a bigger secret hidden behind it."
Looking at these enormous skeletons, Xiao Meng felt a little scared.
But she still tried to remain calm and said, "Brother, these skeletons look really scary. What were they like in life?"
Wang Fan shook his head slightly. "It's not clear yet, but what is certain is that the enemy we are about to face is stronger than we imagined. Everyone must remain vigilant."
Everyone nodded, their eyes revealing determination and resolve.
The group continued cautiously deeper into the passage.
As they drew closer, a colossal skull throne gradually emerged at the end of the passage.
The throne, pieced together from enormous human bones, exuded a chilling aura.
It's as if every bone is telling the story of past bloodshed and cruelty.
The group arrived before the throne and, looking at this strange, enormous creature, couldn't help but discuss it with curiosity.
Xiao Meng's eyes widened in amazement: "Wow, such a huge skull throne! How many bones would it take to put it together? It looks so amazing, but why is there no one here?"
Qin Xiaoxuan stroked her chin thoughtfully and said, "This throne is so huge, its owner must be of extraordinary status."
"No one is here. Either they deliberately lured us here to set a trap, or they have left temporarily for some special reason."
Su Yaqi lightly leaped onto the steps of the throne, carefully observing her surroundings. "Could there be some kind of hidden mechanism here, or a place for some kind of ritual, where those people are waiting for a specific moment to appear?"
Su Yalin held the Ice Dragon Sky-Piercing Bow, her eyes scanning the surroundings warily. "They might be hiding in the shadows, watching us, waiting to trap us like turtles in a jar."
Hua Nianci gripped the Ice Dragon Blade tightly, her eyes filled with caution. "I have a feeling that the aura emanating from this throne is evil, making people feel uneasy. Everyone should be careful."
Just as everyone was engrossed in the discussion.
Suddenly, a dark shadow shot out from behind the throne like a ghost, so fast that no one had time to react.
It was the same black-robed man who had appeared on the throne before.
But beneath the black robe was a chilling skeleton.
Eerie green flames burned within the empty eye sockets, exuding endless eeriness and sinister atmosphere.
The black-robed skeleton held a long sword emanating black mist, thrusting it straight at the unsuspecting Xiaomeng.
"Watch out!" Wang Fan shouted quickly, throwing the Bloodthirsty Halberd in his hand in an instant.
The Bloodthirsty Halberd transformed into a streak of crimson light, precisely blocking the fatal blow.
With a loud clang, the sound of metal colliding echoed through the passage.
A burst of sparks flew, and black mist intertwined with crimson light, illuminating the surroundings in shifting light and shadow.
The black-robed skeleton missed its attack and retreated like lightning, disappearing into the darkness in the blink of an eye.
Wang Fan quickly retrieved the Bloodthirsty Halberd and said with a solemn expression, "Everyone, stand back to back and form a circle. This enemy is formidable."
Following Wang Fan's instructions, everyone immediately moved closer together, warily watching the surrounding darkness.
Just then, another eerie howl echoed from the darkness.
The black-robed skeleton charged towards the group once again, like a bolt of black lightning.
Wang Fan's eyes narrowed, and he stomped his feet hard on the ground.
He charged towards the black-robed skeleton, his Bloodthirsty Halberd brimming with immense crimson power, and slashed fiercely at the skeleton.
The longsword emanating black mist from the black-robed skeleton's hand also charged forward, clashing with the Bloodthirsty Halberd.
