A few days later, Wang Fan got up and walked into the living room in a daze. Suddenly, he saw Hua Nianci busy cooking in the kitchen.
Her figure appeared exceptionally gentle in the morning sunlight, and Wang Fan's heart stirred.
He stood there quietly, watching Hua Nianci skillfully chop and stir-fry vegetables, her focused expression making him somewhat lost in thought.

Xiao Meng and Qin Xiaoxuan's voices grew closer, "Sister Hua, Brother Wang Fan, are you in the kitchen?"
Wang Fan and Hua Nianci quickly pretended to be nonchalant and continued with their work.
Xiao Meng and Qin Xiaoxuan walked into the kitchen, looking at them suspiciously. "Why are you two acting so strangely?"
Wang Fan laughed and brushed it off, "No way, let's get ready to eat."
Xiao Meng pouted, "Hmph, fine, don't tell me then, but I have a feeling something's fishy going on."
Qin Xiaoxuan tugged at Xiaomeng, "Okay, let's eat first."
Everyone started eating together, and the atmosphere became somewhat awkward.
Wang Fan was engrossed in eating when he suddenly felt a sharp pain in his foot. It turned out that Qin Xiaoxuan had secretly stepped on his foot.
He looked up at Qin Xiaoxuan and saw a hint of warning in her eyes.
Wang Fan inwardly groaned, wondering what he had done to offend this young lady.
Hearing Wang Fan's muffled groan, Xiao Meng and Hua Nianci asked with concern, "Brother Wang Fan, what's wrong?"
Wang Fan forced a smile and said, "It's nothing, I just bumped my foot."
Hua Nianci looked at him with concern and said, "Are you really alright? Don't push yourself."
Wang Fan quickly waved his hand: "It's really nothing, let's continue eating."
After finishing their meal, everyone was preparing to rest when Qin Xiaoxuan called out to Wang Fan: "Wang Fan, come with me for a moment, I have something to tell you."
Wang Fan's heart skipped a beat, wondering what Qin Xiaoxuan was up to this time.
Following Qin Xiaoxuan into the room, Wang Fan asked nervously, "Xiaoxuan, what's wrong?"

Hua Nianci was relieved to hear that Qin Xiaoxuan had accepted.
