The henchman cautiously boarded the boat, looked around, and found that nothing seemed amiss.
He breathed a sigh of relief and shouted to Wang Fan, "Grandpa, there's nothing here! Maybe the bald guy committed suicide!"
After saying this, the henchman smiled contemptuously, lowered his guard, and began to wander around the small boat at will.
Suddenly, Wang Fan saw a dark shadow flash past beneath the small boat, and he knew in his heart that something was wrong.
He quickly drew his crossbow, assumed an attack stance, and shouted, "Watch out, something's there!"
Upon hearing Wang Fan's shout, the henchman's smile froze instantly, and he looked around in terror.
He asked in a trembling voice, "Grandpa, what's wrong? Don't scare me, I'm easily frightened."
Wang Fan ignored him, his eyes fixed on the water, his nerves on edge.
Just then, the dark figure reappeared, creating a huge wave that caused the small boat to rock violently.
One of the henchmen stumbled and nearly fell into the water.
"Help! What's under the boat?" He was terrified, his face turning ashen.
Extreme fear made him panic and try to find a place to hide on the ship.
Just as he turned around in a panic, a huge wave suddenly surged up on the calm sea, and a giant, strange fish leaped out of the water.
This strange fish had a mouth full of sharp teeth, like pointed daggers, which gleamed with a chilling light in the sunlight.
It opened its blood-red maw and swallowed the ship and its crew whole.
Wang Fan and the others watched this scene unfold, speechless with shock.
"What...what kind of monster is this!" a henchman stammered.
After swallowing the small boat and its minions, the strange fish seemed unsatisfied and charged towards Wang Fan's boat again.
Its enormous body swam in the sea, stirring up rolling waves, like a moving mountain.
Wang Fan gritted his teeth and shouted, "Hold on! Prepare to engage the enemy!"
Everyone picked up their weapons, their faces grave, but their hearts were filled with fear.
The strange fish drew closer, its ferocious appearance becoming increasingly clear.
Its enormous mouth opened and closed, as if announcing the arrival of death.
Seeing this, Wang Fan roared, "Fire!"
The crowd lit the cannons, and for a moment, the sound of cannons boomed.
Shells whistled as they flew toward the strange fish, striking its hard body and splashing up large sprays of water.
However, this seemingly powerful attack was like a tickle to the strange fish.
It did not cause it any real damage.
Enraged by the attack, the strange fish became even more ferocious.
It opened its gaping maw and lunged at the ship, instantly leaving a huge gash in the hull.
Seawater surged in, and the ship began to tilt.
The crowd lost their balance and fell to the ground as the swaying continued.
"It's over, it's over, the ship is sinking!" a henchman shouted in terror.
Wang Fan struggled to steady himself and shouted, "Don't panic! Xiaoxuan, go steer the boat and try to get as far away from here as possible. I'll deal with this strange fish!"
Xiaoxuan bit her lip, nodded firmly, and rushed towards the cockpit.
While Wang Fan tried to repair the damage to the ship's hull using the system, he also directed everyone to continue attacking the strange fish with cannons, but to no avail.
"No, this won't do, we'll be finished sooner or later!"
Wang Fan's gaze suddenly fell on the henchmen tied up beside him, and an idea came to him.
"These guys have committed countless evil deeds; they'll come in handy!"
He grabbed the henchman and threw him at the strange fish.
The henchman screamed in terror from mid-air, "Have mercy!"
Attracted by the sudden arrival of "food," the strange fish temporarily ceased its attack on the ship.
Taking advantage of this gap, the boat finally managed to get some distance away from the strange fish.
However, the strange fish quickly realized it had been tricked and chased after the boat in even greater anger.
Wang Fan continued using the same method, grabbing another henchman and throwing him at the strange fish.
The strange fish swallowed it whole and immediately sped up to catch up.
Wang Fan had no choice but to continue using his minions to attract the strange fish's attention.
The boat sped ahead, dodging and weaving, while the strange fish relentlessly pursued it from behind. Suddenly, the sea became turbulent, and the situation was extremely critical.
It wasn't until Wang Fan reached out to grab it and found that there were no more henchmen around that he realized he had run out of henchmen.
There was no other way but to use artillery again. Wang Fan shouted, "Concentrate your firepower and give them a good beating!"
The group lit the cannons again, and cannonballs rained down on the strange fish.
The strange fish was somewhat disoriented by the intense barrage of fire, and its speed slowed down slightly.
But before long, the strange fish seemed to have adapted to the attack and charged forward again at full speed.
Just as everyone was in a panic, a mysterious portal suddenly appeared on the sea ahead, emitting a strange light.
"Brother, what's that?" Xiao Meng exclaimed.
Wang Fan also looked puzzled, but at this point he had no other choice.
"Never mind, charge in!" Wang Fan ordered.
The ship sped toward the portal, with the strange fish in hot pursuit.
At the last moment, the ship successfully entered the portal.
The strange fish, blocked outside the door, angrily rammed against the portal.
Upon entering the portal, Wang Fan and the others were all stunned, still reeling from the thrilling chase.
They looked around curiously and found themselves in an unfamiliar place.
An eerie mist permeated the area, creating a sinister and terrifying atmosphere.
"Where is this?" Xiaomeng asked in a trembling voice.
Wang Fan frowned, carefully observing his surroundings.
Suddenly, he saw the words "Skull Secret Realm" engraved on a stone tablet in front of him.
The font emitted a faint blue light, sending chills down one's spine.
Wang Fan gasped, a bad feeling rising in his heart.
Everyone was so frightened that their faces turned pale and their bodies trembled uncontrollably.
At that moment, a gust of cold wind blew by, accompanied by a series of chilling wailing sounds.
Wang Fan couldn't help but curse, "No way! We just escaped one wolf's den and are now in another!"
Just then, a voice suddenly rang in everyone's minds.
Welcome to the Skull Realm.
"This place is littered with the remains of ancient warriors."
"Legend has it that there is a mysterious cave on the island containing the treasure of ancient warriors, but no one has been able to find the entrance to this day."
Upon hearing this, Wang Fan's expression changed, and he hurriedly asked, "Did you all hear that?"
The women nodded in unison, their faces filled with panic.
"What exactly is going on?"
"What should we do? Can we get out?"
Everyone was talking at once, and there was a lot of panic.
Wang Fan took a deep breath and said loudly, "Don't panic! Since we're already here, let's make the best of it. We can't get out anyway, and there's that strange fish waiting outside. We might as well take a gamble here!"
Hearing what Wang Fan said, the women calmed down a bit.
He then asked, "So what should we do next?"
Wang Fan looked around. "Let's carefully explore this place first and see if there are any clues or a way out."
