Chapter 146 Return to Base

Chapter 146 Return to Base

As soon as Ye Shang stood up, a heavy object suddenly pounced on her, knocking her back half a step and almost causing her to lose her balance.

If she hadn't reacted quickly, she would have almost thrown the person off.

Qingli held Ye Shang in his arms, his anxious heart gradually calming down. He rested his head on her left shoulder for a while before pulling away and softly asking, "Are you alright?"

Ye Shang chuckled and said, "It's alright, the harvest was pretty good."

She then showed him the green crystal core.

Qingli glanced at it and lost interest. "Shall we go back first?"

Ye Shang thought for a moment and nodded: "Okay, let's go."

The trip was quite fruitful. He glanced at Chen Qian not far away and asked, "Are you coming back to the base with me?"

Shen Qian nodded frantically: "Of course, I can only follow you."

She really didn't want to be a homeless person anymore, especially now that there was less and less food to eat.

Because of Shen Qian's presence, Ye Shang did not fly on his sword.

In the end, Qingli used her wind-based abilities to hold back the three of them and they returned to their encampment together.

It was almost 6 p.m. by then. The two of them had been out all day. If they hadn't been notified in advance, the people at the base would have definitely gone out to look for them.

After Ye Shang returned, he briefly told Han Yi about Shen Qian's situation. When he heard that she didn't have any special abilities, he said it was nothing, since it was normal to save someone casually at the base.

Everyone has experienced going out and bringing people back, some even bringing back a whole bunch.

Han Yi arranged for her to stay in the girls' tent at the base.

We have to return to base early tomorrow morning. It feels like they didn't really have a chance to use their skills this time, just following the headquarters the whole time.

The next morning, everyone packed their things and prepared to return to the base. The Fifth Base lent a transport plane to the Seventh Base, and Han Yi arranged for someone to go with them to the Seventh Base first. The transport plane would need to be brought back later. These supplies were becoming increasingly scarce, and they didn't want to waste them.

The remaining bases have also been properly arranged.

On the way back, they parted ways and went to the helicopter at the first base.

The tent Ye Shang escorted him to was set up at the First Base; he was originally staying alone, but he still blushed and invited Ye Shang to join him.

Then he held her and talked to her all night, mostly talking while Ye Shang listened.

Watching the helicopters take off from the first base, to be honest, it's a bit strange to suddenly lose this one that's always sticking to me.

Ye Shang twisted his neck and stretched. He hadn't slept much all night, but thankfully his cultivation level was high now, so it didn't affect him much.

After returning to the Fifth Base, she asked Han Yi to prepare the warehouse, and then she went to set off the arsenal before going home.

Zhou Yi'an watched silently as she filled several warehouses with munitions by herself. He only learned from Han Yi that the Fifth Base had obtained 20% of the munitions.

He hasn't been grooming himself much lately, and his unshaven face is now adorned with an excessively bright smile.

Han Yi couldn't bear to look at him anymore. "Base Commander, I suggest you stop laughing like that, it's creepy."

But seeing so much weaponry, he couldn't help but laugh out loud: "Our foundation will develop even better in the future."

After returning to his residence, Ye Shang left a message and stretched before going back to his room: "I'm going to take a nap. You don't need to call me. The food is already in the storeroom. Just take it yourself."
