The whale sea demons were now incredibly timid, not daring to disobey, for fear that she would cut them into pieces.
It obediently transformed into a small beast the size of a palm, an ugly and strange little whale with a small turtle shell the size of a little finger attached to its tail. Its chubby body was also covered with a turtle shell, making it somewhat cute and funny.
However, it still smelled bad. Most of its tentacles had been cut off by Ye Shang, and some had been retracted by it. Now, only four short, fat legs were exposed.
It floated in the air, gradually approaching Ye Shang.
But she pointed at him with the tip of her sword and said, "Don't come near me, you stink."
The whale-sea monster looked a little aggrieved; its tiny, beady eyes darted around, as if it were about to shed tears.
"I used to smell really good," it retorted softly.
Ye Shang glanced at it and said, "You've eaten too much junk."
The whale-sea demon lowered its chubby head: "I won't eat random things anymore."
Ye Shang frowned: "Forget it, we'll see if there's any way to wash it later, otherwise it's not good for it to smell like this."
She used the tip of her sword to create a small space around it, isolating it from the outside smells, which made things much better.
"You can stay in this small space for now, treat it as your little house, and don't break it open and expose your shit-like smell."
The whale-sea demon moved around in the small space for a moment, then said in a muffled, childish voice, "I understand."
Ye Shang wasn't afraid that it might have any bad intentions. Not to mention that it didn't have the ability right now, even if it did, it was just an immature cub. Dealing with it would be much easier.
When it grows bigger, it can actually scare people.
It floated obediently beside Ye Shang.
Because of its previous movements, the waves were quite large, causing the ship to rock violently and involuntarily. Fortunately, the superhumans used their abilities to control the entire ship and prevent it from capsizing.
Qingli barely left the deck, standing steadily as he gazed into the distance. His power still covered the ship, and although the waves were large, they did not take away everything on board.
Only when he saw Ye Shang did he melt away like ice water.
Ye Shang landed on the boat, his light shadow transforming into starlight, disappearing into his hand and returning to his body for nourishment.
"This is the guy's doing." She kicked the whale-sea monster forward.
Qingli looked at the little creature with some doubt: "Is this the huge thing we saw before?"
"good."
When Meng Qiulan saw Ye Shang return, she put her weapon back into her storage bag.
Liang You had brought a lot of talisman paper with him to experiment with, and now they all came forward to see this strange creature.
The crowd gathered around the baby whale-sea monster, examining it closely. It was so tiny! The one they had encountered before was enormous, larger than a mountain.
The whale-sea monster felt a little uncomfortable being surrounded and said, "Don't look at me like that, I'll get shy."
As it spoke, it rolled around twice rather awkwardly, then tucked its chubby tail into the small turtle shell hanging from its tail.
Chen Zui stood to the side, looking at it, and said in surprise, "It can actually talk, and it's kind of cute."
After the apocalypse, people were very accepting of things they had never seen before. Not to mention that the monsters could talk, they had also seen many strange plants and animals, some of which they could communicate with briefly.
The whale-sea monster was a chubby little ball that looked easy to squeeze, but when he reached out to touch it, he was bounced away by the small space barrier.
"Can't reach it."
Ye Shang looked at the little whale-like sea monster: "It ate too many mutated sea creatures, and its whole body reeks of that stinking corpse smell. I trapped it inside with a spatial seal, and I'll deal with it when I find a way."
Chen Zui nodded: "Oh, I see. Then I'll go back to my room and pack my things."
This guy has made a complete mess of the ship; a lot of things are broken and need to be cleaned up and thrown away.
Who knew that this whale-sea monster was so cunning? You could tell from the two turtle shells wrapped around its body that it was afraid of death and cowardly.
"Hey, wait for me, let's go together." It didn't even dare to look at Ye Shang, it was too scared to be beaten up.
It figured that these people all looked like adults, and that the short child must be a human cub. Since it was also a cub, it naturally wanted to stay with Chen Zui, who was also a cub.
Chen was most surprised, pointing to himself: "Why are you following me?"
The whale-sea monster stammered and couldn't give a coherent answer, finally saying, "I'm not an adult yet either, let's play together."
Chen Zui thought of the enormous body he had seen before and fell silent. What if one day the monster lost control and crushed him to death?
Seeing the two of them staring at each other, Ye Shang said, "Alright, its combat power is not bad. Just stay together and don't cause any trouble."
Since it was his sister who spoke, Chen Zui naturally agreed to everything, "Okay, let's go then."
The whale-sea monster then broke free from the group of humans watching and followed Chen Zui back to his cabin.
Seeing that the main character had left, everyone dispersed, some tidying up, others making repairs.
The waves rolled and pounded, and Ye Shang arranged for the ability users to stand guard and stabilize the ship, preventing it from shaking too much.
It would be too much for one person to maintain their strength, so it was better to take turns. Ye Shang taught them a simple method of protecting themselves with supernatural abilities.
This is relatively simple. Basically, you just need to direct your own superpowers outward to form a simple protective layer, making the ship more stable.
It was already past midnight, so everyone tidied up casually and went to sleep, planning to clean up more thoroughly the next day.
The whale-sea monster followed Chen Zui almost the entire time. After arriving at the cabin, it looked at the tiny room and couldn't help but complain, "My old place was much bigger than this. This space is so small, there's not even room for my tail."
Chen looked at it strangely: "You're so small now, you don't need to sleep in a bed. You can just make do at that little table."
The whale-sea monster was puzzled: "What small table?"
Then Chen Zui pointed to a small round table behind it, which could also be considered a bedside table, used to put some miscellaneous items and snacks.
The whale-sea monster's round eyes followed Chen Zui's finger and saw a small wooden table. It almost jumped up immediately, staring wide-eyed, and said in disbelief, "Are you kidding me? My mother is the clan leader, and I am the clan leader's son. How could I be reduced to sleeping on this?!"
Chen Zui was young, and it was already past midnight. He was exhausted and mumbled sleepily, "Ah, if you want to sleep, then sleep. If you don't want to sleep, then don't bother me."
He yawned and pulled out a jacket, tossing it to the whale-sea monster. "Use this as a makeshift cover. I'm going to sleep now. Goodnight."
