Chapter 63 Night Watch

Chapter 63 Night Watch

After replying to the message, Ye Shang sat on the small bed and quietly looked at the data on the personal terminal.

She was on night watch in the second half of the night, and it was around 2 a.m. She saw that the small group on her personal terminal was still sending notifications from time to time. These people really could stay up all night and didn't sleep.

After finishing his night watch, Qingli fell asleep almost as soon as his head hit the pillow. He only knew that he was safe now and could sleep peacefully.

The night was pitch black, and the walls blocked out all moonlight.

She had also turned the light on the computer to the lowest setting, but some light still leaked out.

Ye Shang was a little bored during her night watch. Two hours later, no one spoke in the group anymore. Just as she was about to put away her personal terminal, she saw Qing Li turn over and face this way.

The faint light fell on his face, as if the gods had blessed him, imprinting his handsome features like a sculpture, as if bestowed by the gods. In the dim light, he appeared even more mysterious. His thin, rosy lips were slightly parted as he slept, his breathing even.

The two beds were not far apart, and even with so little light, Ye Shang could still see his face clearly, albeit partially obscured.

Ye Shang's gaze was somewhat deep; at least at this moment, her eyes contained a deep darkness, and a hint of emotion was beginning to sprout.

She didn't know, nor did she think too much about it. Her gaze remained fixed on Qingli until, after a long while, she restrained herself from looking away and completely turned off her personal terminal.

The next day.

Qingli slept quite soundly. He reflected on his own sleep for a while, but after falling asleep, he always felt that a gaze was watching him, making him dream of being imprisoned in the dark.

He then glanced at Ye Shang, who had already folded up the bed and was sitting to the side with his eyes closed, resting.

Silently dismissing the thought, I then saw the ingredients on the table.

He got up and washed himself with water from the bucket next to him. Then he picked up the cookbook he had just received yesterday. It was a thick, heavy book. He turned to the breakfast page, and the first thing he saw was how to cook the ingredients.

He was speechless. Did this person give him ingredients based on a recipe?

He decided to give it a shot: "I think we can have something simple for breakfast, like bread and milk."

It means that since we're all out and about, we don't need to cook all the time anymore.

Hearing his voice, Ye Shang opened her eyes and looked at him: "Okay."

When Qingli saw her gaze, she felt somewhat uncomfortable and disappointed.

He pursed his lips, trying to negotiate, "I'll cook lunch later."

Ye Shang got up and put away all the ingredients, then took out bread and milk.

"Um."

Qingli then smiled and sat down opposite her, tossing the recipe into her spatial ability.

His personal space is also quite large, but I don't know how it compares to hers.

Ye Shang didn't ask him about the food in his space. She pushed his portion to him and said, "Eat it and then leave."

Qingli took one out, tore open the packaging, took a sip of milk, tore off a small piece of bread and stuffed it into her mouth, mumbling, "Mmm, okay."

Ye Shang caught a glimpse of the bread crumbs on his lips, and his eyes darkened involuntarily before he began to eat as well.

Her movements were far less elegant than Qingli's; she simply grabbed the bread and took a bite.

He ate five pieces of bread in no time before stopping.

Qingli had five loaves of bread, but three were left over. He looked at Ye Shang and said, "I can't eat anymore."

Ye Shang was somewhat surprised by his appetite; was it really that small?
