Chapter Thirteen: Old Lady You Caught in Bed with Another Man
Tonight, I'll let you taste the bitterness of utter disgrace.
Lin Baozhu was holding back her anger. She searched through her spatial storage and finally took out a pill. She then launched it forcefully into the room. The pill would turn into gas within two minutes of contact with the air, and inhaling it would induce a deep sleep.
A moment later, there was no more movement inside the house.
She nimbly leaped down from the tree and began her "sweep" through the Bi family's courtyard. Don't think that paying 1,300 yuan is the end of the matter; the original owner's life can't be compensated for with that little money!
The black pig next to the toilet was grunting and rooting at the ground. With a wave of her hand, the pig was gone. In the chicken coop, three speckled chickens stared wide-eyed, flapping their wings in shock. Then Lin Baozhu waved her hand again, and the chickens were gone too.
Next, they went to the kitchen and put away a broken wooden cabinet, half a bag of cornmeal, and a string of dried chili peppers hanging on the wall.
She first went to Bi Yuntao's bedroom and took away the wardrobe, desk, and bedding. Then she went to the room where Grandma You lived and took away all the tables, chairs, benches, teapots, small wardrobes, and large boxes. If it weren't for the fact that their house was made of brick and the bedding on the bed was dirty with patches of black stains, she would have taken it all away too. Now, she would leave it to Grandma You.
He grabbed the object from his wrist, glanced down at the two unconscious men on the ground, snorted coldly, and swiftly stripped them down to their underwear. He then tossed them onto the bed and, like a fox who had stolen a chicken, happily climbed over the wall and returned to the Lin family home.

"Sweetie, where did you go?"
"I'm just strolling around the street to digest my food."
Lin Erlang stood in the courtyard and gave her a half-smile, a look that sent a chill down Lin Baozhu's spine.
Goodness, this second brother gives her the feeling that: I know everything, but I just enjoy watching you perform quietly.
Before her mother could say anything more, she pretended to yawn loudly: "Ah~ Mom, I'm tired, I'm going back to sleep."
She tried to appear open and honest, but her pace was much faster than usual.
Back in his room, he quickly closed the door and patted his chest lightly. No wonder the villagers called Lin Erlang the Little Fox; he really was cunning.
She needs to be careful from now on.
I had only been lying down for a few minutes when shouts suddenly came from outside the courtyard: "Fire! Fire!" There was also the jarring sound of gongs being banged.
Lin Baozhu sprang out of bed with a jolt, put on her shoes, and opened the door. She saw that the Lin family members were already running towards the front door with basins and buckets of water.
"Baozhu, stay home. I don't know whose house is on fire. Look at all that smoke," Lin's mother instructed.
"I'll go take a look too." After saying that, Lin Baozhu ran out in a flash.
"Why are you so disobedient, child..." Before Lin's mother could finish speaking, she had already disappeared.
On the street, villagers jogged along carrying basins and buckets. Lin Baozhu followed the crowd and saw everyone rushing towards the Bi family. She was so excited that her whole body trembled. The little voice in her heart wanted to do a backflip on the spot—it's coming, it's coming! The whole village is going to catch adulterers!
At this moment, a number of people were standing at the door. One of them, a tall man, said anxiously, "Captain, we can't get the door open. There's so much smoke. If we wait any longer, something bad might happen to the person."
The captain looked at the courtyard billowing with thick smoke and said in a deep voice, "Break down the door."
Normally, we could climb over the roof of the neighboring house, but now that the Bi family's house is on fire and the situation inside is unknown, we have no choice but to break through.
A group of burly men heaved open the door and discovered that the woodshed was on fire. It had probably rained heavily a couple of days prior; the firewood inside was soaked and wouldn't burn, only emitting thick smoke.
The villagers breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing this, but couldn't help being curious: "Such a loud noise should have woken up even a pig, so why didn't the people inside react at all?"
The captain said in a deep voice, "Zhu Zi's mother, go and see if Old Lady You is in the house."
"Sigh," Zhu Zi's mother replied, and carefully walked inside.
A moment later, Zhu Zi's mother ran out of the house, covering her eyes. Her face was abnormally red in the torchlight: "Oh dear, my eyes! This...this is too outrageous! At such an old age, how could they be so...how intense were they? They even made her faint!"
"Zhu Zi's mother, what did you see? Judging from your expression, could it be that Old Lady You is hiding a man in her room?" someone teased.
Zhu Zi's mother walked into the crowd and said in a low voice, "That's right, the two of them were lying naked on the bed, hugging each other so tightly, it was unbearable to look at! Lin Baozhu was right, Old Lady You and Widow Zuo really are having an affair."
Upon hearing this, everyone gasped in shock.
Some curious onlookers rushed inside to see what was going on, and when they saw Old Lady You and Widow Zuo lying on the ground wearing only a pair of shorts, their eyes widened in astonishment.
"My goodness, Old Lady You is over fifty years old, a normal woman would have gone through menopause by then, but she's still so energetic, she's really vigorous in her old age."
The brigade leader looked at everything before him, his face ashen. Their village had the best chance of being named an advanced village this year, but now it was all over.
Lin Baozhu stood at the doorway and silently crushed a small pill, releasing a pungent stench that spread around her.
Someone in the crowd shouted, "Hey, who's so dirty?"
Lin Baozhu stared innocently at the man beside her, then took a step back with a look of disgust...
Man: ...
"Lin Baozhu, what do you mean? I didn't put it there."
"Uncle, as the saying goes, holding in a fart will ruin your heart, but forcing one is good exercise. If you're going to fart, just let it out, we won't laugh at you. But it really stinks, so be more mindful of the occasion next time."
That's what she said, but she had already run into the house.
They seemed to have been driven away by the fumes, but they were actually just waiting to watch the show!
The smell of medicine entered the nostrils of Old Mrs. You and Widow Zuo in less than five seconds, and the two woke up.
Before Old Lady You could figure out what was going on, she turned her head and saw the widower Zuo who had just opened his eyes. She snuggled into his arms and said in a coquettish voice, "Brother Shuanzi~ You're so amazing, you kissed me so hard I fainted!"
Old Mrs. You had her back to the door and couldn't see anyone outside, but Widower Zuo could see everyone clearly. He suddenly shoved Old Mrs. You aside and shouted sternly, "Shut up!"
Widow Wang and Old Lady You, who had always been at odds, finally got their chance. Hands on her hips, she shouted, "Oh dear! I didn't believe Lin Baozhu when she told me you and Zuo Shuanzi were sneaking into the woods, but I never expected this… Your son's having an affair, and you, as his mother, aren't idle either! Looks like your husband's rotten! Team leader, this must be reported to the commune! We must bring down this immoral couple, otherwise, if others in the village follow suit, what will become of our village's reputation?"
When Old Lady You heard Widow Wang's voice, she stiffly turned her head. When she saw the crowd of onlookers at the door, she screamed in fright. Looking down at her bare upper body, she quickly covered herself with her arms, her old face full of terror: "What are you doing in my house? Shuanzi and I have been framed! Captain, you must do justice for me!"
If Old Lady You had said she was framed at the beginning, perhaps some people would have believed her, since the fire in the woodshed hadn't started, it was just emitting thick smoke, which clearly indicated that they were deliberately lured there.
The first thing Old Lady You did after waking up was to snuggle into Widow Zuo's arms, repeatedly calling out, "Brother Shuanzi, you kissed me so hard I fainted!" Now she's trying to find an excuse to "be framed" to escape punishment? Who would believe her nonsense?
