Lin Qing stared blankly at the corpse on the ground, and it took her a while to realize that she was dead.

"Wang Hui, Li Junan, according to our investigation, you are suspected of murdering Ms. Lin Qing. Please come with us."
Lin Qing was so excited she almost fainted. Heaven had finally heard her heart's desire; the bad guys were finally going to be brought to justice...
Lin Qing excitedly followed them to the police station, watching the police interrogate the adulterous couple, watching Wang Hui finally confess to the crime, watching Wang Hui be sentenced and Li Jun'an be executed, and then watching her own body being pulled from the lake, and watching a man who was both a stranger and a familiar face hold a funeral for her with red eyes.
"Qingqing, I'm sorry, it's all my fault, I failed to protect you..."
The funeral was over! A light rain suddenly began to fall. A man of extraordinary bearing sat leaning against the tombstone. The rain soaked his clothes and his hair.
