Upon hearing Dong Xiulan's question, Lin Qing explained that she had also run into the original owner's classmate at the department store today and only then did she realize that the original owner had a classmate whose family worked at the department store!

She slept soundly through the night, and when she woke up it was already dawn! Lin Qing got up, harvested the radishes, replanted them, and then went outside.
In the living room, Dong Xiulan was wiping the table. Seeing her daughter had woken up, she said to her:
"Qingqing, Mommy's going to the building to buy you something today! Do you want to come?"
"Mom, I'm not going. I'm going to a friend's house today and I won't be home for lunch."
Lin Qing, thinking about the black market she still needed to visit today, refused Dong Xiulan's offer.
"Okay, here's the money. Take it. Mom's leaving now. You can pack up slowly. Just put the dishes in the pot after you finish eating. Mom will wash them when she gets back."
Seeing that Lin Qing was unwilling to go to the department store with her, Dong Xiulan did not force her. Her daughter was about to go to the countryside, so it would be good for her to play with her classmates.
