Chapter 183 The Consequences of Meddling

The man pointed to the lower bunk on the right behind him with a very grim expression.

Then he carried his luggage and walked towards the carriage where Yan Ning and the others were with regret.

Yan Yuqi was making his bed and Yan Ning was sitting in her seat.

The girl who was with the woman just now sat on the bench by the window in the corridor, at a loss.

After the man came over, he looked at Yan Ning and Yan Yuqi angrily, then climbed onto the upper bunk on Yan Yuqi's side.

"Bang!"

When climbing to the upper bunk, the man hit his head hard on the roof of the carriage without paying attention.

The man's face suddenly turned as black as the bottom of a pot.

The space on the upper bunk was already low, and he curled up and climbed into the bed with difficulty.

Yan Ning sneered. You deserve it for being nosy!

She lay down on the bed, closed her eyes and dozed off, her mind entering the space.

Just as she was dozing off, she suddenly felt someone gently patting her arm.

She reflexively grabbed the man's arm and opened her eyes to look at him.

The next second she let go of the hand she was holding and sat up, "...Brother, why are you taking pictures of me?"

Yan Yuqi came back to his senses from his sister's agility and pointed at the girl who was still sitting on the bench in the corridor.

Yan Ning raised his hand to check the time. It was already past eight forty in the evening, and the lights on the train would be turned off in ten minutes.

Everyone in the carriage had fallen asleep, and the only sound that could be heard was the snoring.

The girl sat quietly on the stool, her eyes fixed on her mother's position.

The dim light shone on the lonely figure, making it look weak and helpless.

Yan Ning looked at Yan Yuqi and asked with his eyes: When did you become nosy?

Yan Yuqi shrugged: It’s up to you!

Then he returned to his seat opposite and lay down.

Yan Ning thought about it and realized that this girl looked different from her unreasonable mother.

She looked at the girl and said, "Comrade, the lights are about to be turned off. Why don't you go back to your bunk?"

When the girl turned her head to look at her, she pointed towards the upper bunk on her side.

"The top bunk is the top bed."

The girl turned her head to look at her mother and brother who were already asleep, then turned back to look at Yan Ning and said softly:

"Thank you, I'll be upstairs right away."

Yan Ning nodded slightly and lay down to sleep.

The girl stood up and walked to the iron stairs. She hesitated for a moment, took off her shoes and climbed up.

"Bang!"

Something hit the ground with a sound.

Yan Ning opened his eyes, straightened his upper body and looked at the ground.

The girl just now was lying on the ground, her face distorted with pain, but she was holding it in tightly without making any sound.

Yan Ning lifted the quilt, got out of bed, walked over and helped the girl up.

"How's it going? Did you fall anywhere?"

The girl held her waist and shook her head, "It's okay, it won't hurt after a while."

Yan Ning continued, "Didn't you step firmly just now? Be careful when you climb up later, and hold on to the pole with both hands."

The girl was a little nervous, and after a few seconds she said in a low voice: "Actually, my ticket is a seat ticket, and my mother only bought a sleeper ticket.

I didn't dare to go to my place to spend the night alone, so I thought I would sit on the bench here and rest for a night.

Later you asked me to sleep on the upper bunk, and I thought that no one was sleeping on it, so I just went up there and lay down for an hour or two.

It was my first time riding in this type of sleeper, so I didn’t hold on tightly enough when I got on and accidentally fell off.”

Yan Ning was stunned for a moment, obviously not expecting this to happen.

The girl suddenly remembered something and said embarrassedly, "Comrade, I apologize to you and your brother on behalf of my mother. I'm sorry."

Yan Ning smiled and said, "It's okay. She didn't gain any advantage anyway."

After saying that, she raised her hand to check the time. There were only two minutes left before the lights went out.

She whispered, "The lights will be turned off soon, go upstairs and have a rest.

The conductor won't come to check the carriages at night, so just get up before dawn."

The girl nodded and thanked him, then stepped onto the shelf and climbed up carefully.

Yan Ning stared at the girl's figure. When she climbed to the upper bunk, her clothes were a little short, inevitably revealing her waist.

Yan Ning's eyes fell on the girl's waist.

There is a reddish-pink plum blossom-shaped birthmark on the right side of the waist, with five petals clearly visible.

Yan Ning felt it was a little magical. It was the first time she had seen a birthmark with such a clear shape.

The girl lay down on the upper bunk and smiled at Yan Ning with her head tilted.

Yan Ning smiled, retracted her gaze and returned to her bed.

As soon as I lay down, the lights in the carriage went out.

The next morning, Yan Ning woke up to a loud noise.

She irritably lifted the quilt and sat up to look towards the source of the sound, but she could only hear the voice but not see the person.

"You damn girl, what's the point of me raising you up like this? What else can you do besides having a mouth to eat?

I asked you to ask for some food for your brother, but you can't even do it, and you still have the nerve to cry.

You are good at seducing men, right? Go and seduce them now, just use your face to win.

Oh, I forgot, your vixen face has been ruined, who would like you now?"
