On the beach, Mo Yi knelt on one knee, a golden scepter piercing his chest. Dozens of corpses lay scattered around him, some of the lion-men, others the eagle-men. Cang Yu, with three of his six wings severed, lay in a pool of blood, his fate unknown.
In front of Mo Yi, a giant crater a hundred meters in diameter was still emitting black smoke—the traces of the self-destruction.
"Senior!" Chen Feng rushed forward.
Hearing the shout, Mo Yi turned his head with difficulty. His left eye was shattered, but his right eye shone with an eerie light: "Silly boy... why are you back...?"
Jin Lie grinned maliciously as he drew his scepter: "Perfect for wiping them all out in one fell swoop!" He raised the scepter high, a blood-red light shooting into the sky, "Lion God descends!"

With a swipe of his giant claw, five streaks of blood-red light tore through space and attacked. Chen Feng was about to defend himself when Yun Yi preemptively unfurled his wings: "Heavenly Feather Protection!"
The fully awakened Heavenly Feather Divine Wings unleashed a dazzling curtain of light, completely blocking the crimson light. However, Yun Yi was also shaken back several steps, blood trickling from the corner of his mouth.

Jin Lie hastily tried to defend himself, but the attack severed his right arm. He screamed as he staggered back, crying, "Impossible! How could you possibly hurt me!"
Chen Feng and Yun Yi were equally surprised by the power of the attack, but they soon discovered that maintaining this state was extremely taxing, and their breathing became unstable.
"We must finish this quickly!" Chen Feng gritted his teeth, preparing to make another move.
Suddenly, the entire beach trembled violently, and the gray fog of the chaotic sea surged wildly. A sharp, piercing sound came from the depths of the fog wall, like the howl of some creature, sending chills down one's spine.

After swallowing Jin Lie, the Devouring Beast's small mouths opened and closed faster, seemingly gaining more energy. It turned its six eyes to look at the remaining living creatures on the beach—Chen Feng and Yun Yi.
"Run!" Chen Feng pulled up his cloud wings to retreat, but found that gray mist had appeared behind him at some point—the boundary of the Chaos Sea was expanding!
The Devouring Beast let out a piercing howl and slowly swam towards them. Wherever it passed, the beach, rocks, and even the air were swallowed up by its tiny mouths, leaving behind nothingness.
"We can't let it leave here!" Yunyi broke free from Chen Feng's grasp. "Our ancestors sacrificed themselves to seal these monsters; we can't let the Myriad Races Continent repeat the same mistake!"
Chen Feng understood this principle perfectly well, but what could they do when faced with a monster that could easily devour a demigod?
Suddenly, he remembered Mo Yi's dying words: "The Twin Heart Stones are in the central vortex...that's the key to reinforcing the seal!"
"Cloudwing, can you hold it back for now? I need to go deep into the Chaos Sea to find something!"
Yunyi didn't ask any further questions, but simply unfolded his Heavenly Feather Divine Wings: "Hold on for as long as you can. Go!"
Chen Feng nodded emphatically and turned to rush into the gray mist. Before passing through the barrier, he looked back one last time and saw Yun Yi radiating dazzling golden light as she actively faced the Devouring Beast. Her slender figure appeared so small yet so resolute in front of the behemoth.
