In the red starry sky, a dilapidated warship floated above the nebula.
A large amount of stellar debris gathered around, indicating that the battleship had not moved for a long time.
The dull energy flowed past, leaving the white-haired man on the battleship deck with a melancholy look in his eyes, as if he had been a sculpture motionless for a long time.
At some point, the warship began to shake slightly. The white-haired man rolled his eyes and turned around quickly.
A sturdy man in black flew over from behind.
"Uncle Li, I'm back." Chen Yu's face was weathered and his eyes were firm.
Li Yao's tense face suddenly relaxed, revealing a smile as he asked, "Are you okay?"
As Chen Yu approached, his steps slowed down and he replied, "It's fine. It's fun there."
The two hugged each other without any extra words.
Not long after, several more people appeared, both men and women, bringing some life to the almost silent warship.
However, the happy days did not last long. When a shadow encompassing the entire starry sea appeared outside the battleship, everyone's face changed drastically.
“They all did a great job and lived up to my expectations.”
After saying this, everyone except Li Yao's facial features twisted, their bodies stiffened, and huge amounts of energy escaped from every cell and were sucked away by the phantom.
Li Yao was shaking with anger and wanted to fight back but he had no way to do it.
He roared, "We've done so much, when will it end?"
“It’s far from over.”
The shadows gradually disappeared, and the men and women who were strong and healthy before fell to the ground in a mess, and became weak again.
Then they saw circles of light appear and suck them in. Each circle of light represented an independent universe.
Li Yao stretched out his hand without saying anything, and could only turn around and continue sitting like a sculpture.
He knew that he couldn't stop it, nor could he follow it, so he could only act as a beacon here, providing coordinates for everyone to return.
Not far away, Chen An was floating in the air, watching the whole process.
The gods are eternal, and I have seen similar phantoms before.
"What's going on? I don't have a physical body?"
Chen An didn't dare show up when the gods were there, but now that the gods have disappeared, he finds that he still can't.
"There can only be one explanation: the spirit hasn't truly disappeared; it's always watching. So I must maintain this state of nothingness. But the question is, how do I push the light cone to grow?"
The light cone on Li Yao is in its early stages.
Chen An floated over and tried to communicate with his consciousness, and it actually worked.
"Who are you?"
Li Yao had already entered a state of emptiness when he was suddenly awakened by a strange signal appearing in front of him.
After analyzing the signal, he received the following answer: "I am a consciousness traveling through the starry sky. I found someone here and came to check it out."
Li Yao's expression relaxed slightly, and he showed a look of realization.
"I see. Meeting is fate. Is there anything I can help you with?"
Chen An replied: "My life is too boring. I want to find someone to talk to. Are you free?"
Li Yao's face twitched and he sighed, "The thing I have the most is time."
So the two of them started chatting.
Chen An did not rush to talk about issues related to the light cone, but instead talked about some interesting things he encountered on the road and successfully made friends with Li Yao.
Finally, as if by coincidence, they talked about business and Li Yao started to complain.
"Each of these children is extraordinary. They possess incredible talents and will surely be great in the future. But unfortunately, they encountered a divine being."
"The gods forced them to travel to different universes to absorb the essence, and when they returned, they were sucked away by him again. Alas, it's pitiful and lamentable. I can only watch helplessly, unable to do anything."
"I'm sorry to both Your Majesties and the children."
Seeing him weeping uncontrollably, Chen An comforted him: "You've done well enough. Their experience has nothing to do with you."
Chen An suddenly had some enlightenment.
The gods seemed not to do anything to him, but they were actually controlling him.
For example, preventing Yongye from becoming a god, targeting the children, or forcing Luoyu to leave the train.
"If these things hadn't been stopped, by now I would have divine disciples, a group of powerful adopted sons and daughters, and even a heaven-defying being like Luo Yu who can peer into the past and the future. So that's why they're always targeting me, but the Primordial Light can't attack me directly."
After thinking about this, Chen An found that many problems could be answered.
"Are you still there?" Li Yao suddenly asked.
Chen An replied: "I'm here, don't worry, there is a solution to any problem."
"But I don't have that ability."
"No one is born with talent. Instead of feeling sorry for yourself, you should find a way to save yourself. With enough time, you'll definitely find the answer."
Li Yao stood up and walked to the back, entering the battleship.
Many places inside have been uninhabited for a long time, so many brightly colored microorganisms have grown there.
Li Yao ignored all this and headed to the cockpit.
He pulled open the light curtain and told Chen An about his research over the years.
"I've collected all the data here, without missing anything. It includes when they left, their status at the time, and where they went. Who returned and who didn't, as well as what they said when they returned and what information about the other world they left behind. Please take a look, Senior."
Chen An checked them one by one and conducted a systematic analysis, but could not come up with any useful results.
When they were about to give up, Li Yao said, "Every child has gone out several times. Almost all of them came back the first time, except for one, whose name is Chen Bufan."
Chen An asked: "Why is he the only one who didn't come back? Where did he go?"
"The gods call it the Aoki Universe."
Chen An seemed to have heard of this name.
