Moonlight streamed in through the window. Ye Yun lay on the kang (a heated brick bed), while Lin Shuyue nestled in his arms, gazing at him with adoring eyes.
“I thought…you would eat me,” Lin Shuyue said.
Ye Yun smiled faintly, stroked her cheek, and explained, "I think you're too nervous. You're already that tense just from kissing."
