Chapter 102: Conquering the Interrogation Room

Three Alddy cubs were patrolling back and forth in the interrogation room.

Seeing a staircase leading down, Liu Nian decided to move the battlefield to the staircase to avoid pulling other monsters that couldn't be seen at the bottom of the stairs.

The all-powerful skeleton takes on the important task of pulling monsters.

The werewolf on the other side suddenly sniffed the sky in confusion. Why was there a putrid smell of the dead in the air?

Turning my head, I saw a group of skeletons slowly emerging from the shadows of the side gate.

How could we tolerate this? They pounced on us with a whoosh.

The wooden floorboards thumped under their feet, and their claws left several scratches on the floor.

Before Liu Nian could unleash his damage amplification, the three werewolves accelerated and rushed towards the skeleton, using their physical advantage to knock it down.

Seeing that he had already engaged the enemy and no reinforcements were coming from the stairwell, he felt relieved and focused on dealing with the three werewolves in front of him.

Taking advantage of the moment the skeleton was knocked down, the werewolves tried to rush up and tear Liu Nian apart, as they could smell the fresh blood and flesh in the pile of rotting flesh.

Just as they were drooling and trying to get closer, the ghouls on Liu Nian's right flank pounced and began tearing into the werewolf.

The moment they collided, wolf fur and flesh flew everywhere.

The demon child on his left flank leaped up behind the werewolf, and the skeleton also stood up again, surrounding the three wolves.

Without any guards protecting him, Liu Nian retreated a distance, controlled the area, and then began to cast Amplify Damage, followed by applying Slow spells to each target.

To prevent the fear spell from causing the werewolf to knock over the skeleton and break through the encirclement, Liu Nian cast two debuff spells and then turned to examine the surrounded werewolf.

These werewolves were generally tall, more than a head taller than Liu Nian's summoned creatures.

It had gray and white fur, and each forearm was covered with an arm guard. It also had sharp teeth and claws that were about the same length as a ghoul.

Now afflicted with three debuffs, they have no hope of breaking through and are being attacked from all sides.

But they are incredibly resilient, tearing at Liu Nian's only life unit, the Demon Child.

No one can outlast the undead in a protracted battle, which made a glint of ferocity flash in their eyes. Then they accelerated, their claws moving like the wind.

Liu Nian couldn't see the movements of their arms clearly, only afterimages.

The demonic child before them met its demise, instantly torn to shreds.

Fortunately, Tiffany's skeletons plugged the gap left by the demon child in time, preventing the formation from breaking.

Seeing that their health points had each dropped by half, Liu Nian guessed that they must have used some kind of skill.

Tiffany replaced the remaining two demon children with the remaining skeletons, and Liu Nian prepared to unleash the Death Ripple.

With 40 points of shadow damage every 15 seconds and lacking effective countermeasures, the three werewolves quickly met their demise on the spot.

Upon hearing the system notification that a werewolf had gained a full 300 experience points, Liu Nian was overjoyed.

Liu Nian's experience points soared to 1550/4000, which meant he would be close to level 10 after completing the dungeon.

If you lack experience at that time, you can work hard to complete a few more tasks; it shouldn't be a big problem.

The task on the panel has changed from reaching the coordinates area to killing the Fallen Mage Arudi and obtaining the token from his body.

Big Black brought back the loot dropped by the three werewolves: a bunch of crowns and three cards.

They're all material cards [Werewolf's Heart], which I can give to Sun Buhuan to exchange for alchemy potions later.

The vampire's contract requires the werewolf's claws. Could he collect some? Liu Nian looked at the werewolf corpse in front of him.

Unfortunately, things didn't go as planned; after the werewolf died, it gradually reverted to its human form.

His clothing seemed to be medieval European style, and he had watched some European and American dramas in his spare time in the past.

Now that all the werewolves in the interrogation room have been eliminated, Liu Nian led his summoned creatures toward the only stairwell.

Looking down from the stairwell, there are three prison cells and a fenced gate leading to the square.

There are three cells, two on the right and one on the left.

There is a passageway in the middle, and at the end of the passageway is a fence gate.

Two werewolves were patrolling back and forth in the passage. Seeing that the gate was locked, Liu Nian guessed that he had to get the key from the two werewolf guards.

As usual, information gathering revealed that these two werewolves had a whopping 1,000 health points, with little change in their other offensive and defensive capabilities.

"Little puppy, look this way." Liu Nian, unaware of the situation in the cell, planned to make the battle take place in the interrogation room, so he made a provocative remark.

Upon hearing this, the two werewolf guards felt insulted and howled as they lunged at Liu Nian.

Unlike the gray and white fur of the previous two werewolves, the fur of these two werewolves was pure gray.

That's more like it. Seeing the two pounce on them, Liu Nian started to use the damage amplification skill.

The amplified damage spell landed precisely on the two wolves' heads, and they accelerated their way upstairs.

The summoned creatures had already set up a trap at the stairwell, just waiting for them to slip in.

Those three werewolves had a total of two skills: a sprint and a claw attack. (Since the werewolves' skills weren't visible, these were just names Liu Nian made up.)

Watching the werewolves speeding in, Liu Nian guessed that their skills were similar.

It's just that they're more durable; both werewolves died one after another.

The werewolf who later died was tested by Liu Nian with fear magic, and it worked, giving him another way to save his life.

[Congratulations to player Liu Nian for successfully defeating Arudi's Child (Elite), gaining 200 experience points]

The elite dropped two material cards, one resource card, and a bunch of crowns.

[Werewolf's Heart] *2, [Turkey Feast].

I want the werewolf's claws, but it seems like the heart is easier to get than the claws?

More importantly, they couldn't find the key even after searching their entire bodies.

Left with no other choice, Liu Nian went downstairs. Of the three cells, only one was occupied; the others were empty. It appeared to be a young male.

The young man sat on the straw-covered ground, his face obscured by his disheveled hair, muttering something to himself.

Liu Nian called to him through the cell bars for a long time, but he didn't respond.

"He's probably been driven mad by the torture!" Liu Nian thought.

On the wall next to his cell was a wooden gate. After pulling the gate down forcefully, the gate slowly rose up.

After a series of sizzling sounds, the gate finally rose to its highest point and remained fixed in place.

The man remained seated on the ground, muttering to himself, seemingly unmoved by the freedom that was within his grasp.

Brother, this is all I can do to help you. The rest of the journey is up to you.

Liu Nian shrugged and then walked toward the gate leading to the square.

Next to that fence gate, there was also a wooden gate.

As for whether the man would do anything rash, Liu Nian had seen his information; he was just an ordinary human with only twenty points of health left.

If he's feeling down, Liu Nian wouldn't mind seeing him off.

Reaching the gate, Liu Nian forcefully pulled it down.

Sure enough, the gate in front of the square also began to rise.

Looking at the werewolves lingering in the square, Liu Nian seemed to see many moving experience packs.

Come on, let the storm rage on!

Liu Nian got excited!
