Chapter 126: Escape and Victory

As the three sky mages attacked simultaneously, the situation on the battlefield suddenly changed. The expressions of the nobles watching the battle suddenly changed. They surrounded the Third Young Master of the Southern Territory, eagerly asking if he had any more cards up his sleeve.

The Third Young Master was already in a state of disarray at this moment. He had already exhausted most of his connections in order to invite the Dragon Knight and the four Sky Realm experts. What other tricks did he have left?

He was filled with indignation, unable to comprehend where these three sky mages had appeared from at this crucial moment, and why no one had stopped them. Why hadn't the person stationed at the western border stopped them?

But there was no time to investigate further; saving his life was the most important thing! The Third Young Master suppressed his panic and quickly sent an emergency message to the Dragon Man Peide, who was fighting bloody battles, ordering him to evacuate immediately and return to his side.

However, the dragon man Peide was in danger at this time. After releasing a powerful combination of spells, the three sky wizards instantly locked their eyes on him and rushed towards him like birds of prey.

The addition of the three sky mages completely unbalanced the battle. The dragon scales wrapped around the dragon man Peide kept breaking, and the afterimages of his claws became increasingly vague.

After another round of spells, he was unable to dodge and his chest was pierced by a dark blue beam of magic. Bright red blood mixed with dragon breath gushed out and he fell to his knees on the scorched earth.

Just when his life was in danger, the dragon man suddenly pulled open the pendant around his neck, and a dark purple potion rolled into his palm.

Without waiting for anyone to react, he tilted his head back and drank it all in one gulp. Instantly, countless blood-colored lines crazily spread across his scales, and the strange power of the potion caused twisted ripples in the air—it was clearly the forbidden "Bloodline Life-Burning Potion," which burned life in exchange for a brief surge of strength.

The Third Young Master's pupils suddenly shrank, and he stumbled back half a step, mumbling in despair: "Crazy... It's all over..."

He trembled as he took out the crystal disc engraved with runes from his arms. The moment his fingertips pressed the mechanism, a dazzling white light shot up into the sky.

As the portal opened with a bang, the nobles' cries of fear were left behind, and the figure of the Third Young Master disappeared into the void with flowing light, leaving behind only the mess on the ground and the slowly closing magic rift.

The moment the dragon man Peide drank the forbidden potion, a strange blood mist rose from his body, and his damaged dragon scales reshaped like lava.

The offensive of the five sky fighters including Betan was torn apart by him with his bare hands. This fearless monster actually rushed towards the deadly magic and withstood the impact of the spell with his flesh and blood body, which completely disrupted everyone's formation.

Above the battlefield, the fight between Eric and the Wind Dragon Knight had become crazy. The claws of the Frost Dragon and the fangs of the Wind Dragon clashed, and blood gushed out of the wounds on both of their bodies. Eric even deliberately exposed a flaw, using the deep wound on his chest that could be seen to the bone in exchange for a fatal gap in the Wind Dragon's abdomen.

On the aerial battlefield, a fierce battle between four Sky Knights raged on. The noble knights watched the situation rapidly deteriorate, cold sweat dripping from their foreheads.

The leading grey-robed knight suddenly threw out a magic item that emitted S-level energy fluctuations. William and others instinctively dodged, but saw the opponent feint, the item turned into a stream of light and retracted into his palm, and the person had already fled towards the sky.

Seeing this, the other three immediately followed suit and disappeared into the clouds in the blink of an eye.

Martin looked at the figure going away and decisively activated the communication crystal: "William! Stop chasing! Give your full support to Eric!" After receiving the order, the four people who had already chased out immediately changed direction and rushed towards the high-altitude battlefield like an arrow.

The Wind Dragon Knight was concentrating on fighting with Eric, and only realized that something was wrong when four powerful auras approached from all directions.

He drank the healing potion frantically, but found that the wound healed much slower than the new wound.

Finally, he gritted his teeth and took out an S-level potion engraved with skull runes - "Life Burst".

The moment the potion entered his throat, his pupils flashed with a strange golden light, and he injected all his knightly strength into the wind dragon's body.

The Wind Dragon Rider roared and drove his mount to change direction. The violent wind raised by the wind dragon's wings was wrapped in lightning, trying to tear open a gap to break through.

Eric had anticipated this. The frost dragon Frost Condensed spewed out icy mist that condensed into a high wall, and its huge body blocked the escape route like an iron gate.

However, after taking the "Life Burst" potion, the Wind Dragon Knight's strength increased dramatically. The knight's power bursting out from the spear turned into substance and collided violently with the Frost Condensed Dragon Claw.

As the air surged, Eric and Shuang Ning were knocked back and fell heavily on a mountain several miles away.

Upon seeing this, William and others immediately formed a cone-shaped battle formation and gave chase.

The swords of the four knights intertwined into a web of light, temporarily halting the Wind Dragon's movements. However, the Wind Dragon Knights' offensive became increasingly fierce, each strike carrying a desperate rage, threatening to tear through the defenses at any moment.

Eric wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and decisively took out the S-level potion Martin had given him. The moment the amber liquid entered his throat, his pupils ignited with icy blue flames, and he poured all of his surging knight power into Frost Condensate.

Frost Ning roared towards the sky, and the ice armor around his body glowed brightly. The dragon's tail swept across and froze the entire airspace.

With the tacit cooperation of Eric and the four sky knights, the frost chains entangled the wind dragon's wings and the sword blade cut through the dragon knight's defense.

Finally, Eric's dragon lance pierced the wind dragon rider's chest, and a rain of crimson blood mixed with ice crystals showered the battlefield. The wind dragon, having lost its master, fell with a mournful wail, bitten by Frost's neck, and fell heavily onto the scorched earth.

The remaining knights watched this shocking scene, their weapons dropping to the ground. Defeat spread like a plague. Some turned to flee, but were pinned down by the mighty force of the sky unleashed by William.

Martin quickly dispatched three knightly orders to blockade the battlefield and encircle all the surrenderers and deserters.

On Betan's side, as the effect of the forbidden potion gradually wore off, the blood mist swirling around the dragon man Peide began to thin. His claws, which had been as swift as ghosts, now had a noticeable sluggishness when they swung out afterimages.

When Betan's knight's sword brushed past the dragon man's shoulder armor, he couldn't even dodge in time. The blood oozing from the broken scales was no longer boiling hot as before, but had a strange grayish color.

The five sky warriors exchanged glances in tacit understanding, and their offensive suddenly became a mixture of real and fake. The mages manipulated the elements to form a cage, trapping the dragonman in the center of the magical storm; the warriors used flickers of light and shadow to harass him, quickly retreating the moment he attempted a counterattack.

Whenever the dragon man Peide forced the remaining medicinal power to launch a charge, he would be greeted by an overwhelming spell barrier. The energy aftermath generated by the collision would plow dozens of bottomless gullies in the ground.

When the last trace of blood faded from the dragon man's eyes, he collapsed to his knees, sending up a cloud of dust. When Betan stepped forward to check his presence, he saw he was still clutching a half-broken potion bottle in his palm—the remaining purple liquid inside had now completely solidified into a gray-black lump.
