Chapter 42: Settling Wayne and Collecting the Magic Copper Mine

The moment Martin entered the camp, Betan and William sensed something and rushed over. After bowing to Martin, Martin asked, "How is the production of the Demon Copper Mine these days?" Betan and William exchanged a glance. Betan stepped forward and said nervously, "Master, the production has not been ideal these days.

The main reason is the frequent attacks from the monsters in the Luoqiu Mountains, which have injured many people, so production capacity has decreased. Martin's face darkened instantly after hearing this, and he asked in a cold tone, "Why didn't you tell me earlier? Do you know how much gold you've lost?"

In anger, Martin raised his foot to kick Betan, but it seemed to hit a wall and did not move at all. William saw this and quickly pulled Betan, who finally reacted and let out a cry of "Ah" and pretended to fly backwards. Martin was speechless when he saw this.

"William, take me to see how much ore we've dug." William led the way while introducing, "Young Master, Captain Betan and I originally wanted to store the ore in our space ring, but the space ring is limited. Martin nodded and quickened his pace, soon arriving at the cave. He saw the knights' servants coming and going, dumping baskets of ore into the cave. When they saw Martin coming, they stopped what they were doing and saluted respectfully.

Martin nodded, then told William to gather all those who could and couldn't move to the open space, so he could reward them according to their merits. Then, Martin asked William to stay outside and forbid anyone from entering the cave. After that, he walked into the cave alone.

Looking at the mountains of magic copper ore in the cave, Martin felt an irrepressible surge of excitement. This was his first experience as a landlord. "System, collect these ore." As soon as he finished speaking, the ore quickly vanished.

Looking at the system panel again, he saw an energy display, and the number on it kept climbing. Martin's heartbeat quickened with excitement. Soon, all the mined ore was taken away by the system, leaving only an empty valley.
