The subordinates obeyed the order and left immediately. The eldest prince looked at the sky outside the court and fell into deep thought.
The war in the Trading Star Realm is still raging, energy beams tearing through the void, starship wreckage floating among the nebulae, and countless lives being annihilated every second.
Those star cluster-level powerhouses who rarely take action on weekdays also stepped onto the battlefield at this moment.
The enormous force stirred up the situation in the trading star realm, but it was still difficult to reverse the situation.
What's strange is that there is no sign of any star cluster-level existence in the invader camp.
They seemed to be deliberately indulging the races under their command, allowing those low-level races to slowly disappear in the war of attrition, as if to make room for subsequent powerful races.
What is even more shocking is that the creatures in the sixth cosmic plane are generally stronger than those in the fifth cosmic plane.
If the galaxy-level powerhouses above the star cluster had not been wiped out by an unknown existence before, their current situation would probably be even more dangerous.
However, the current situation is not optimistic. The invaders are star-cluster-level powerhouses.
It far exceeds the local camp, and with the continuous influx of subsequent races, the gap continues to widen.
The higher-ups from the four higher planes finally realized something was amiss.
In the shadows of the holographic conference, representatives from all parties looked solemn. Their fingertips traced the reddening area on the map of the trading star realm. "We can't wait any longer! Immediately dispatch all available experts to provide support, even if it means leaving our rear defenses empty!"
However, the number of star cluster-level powerhouses is limited after all, and fighting head-on will only increase losses.
In the end, they had no choice but to put aside the dimensional barriers and send distress signals to the surrounding neutral star fields, revealing the invaders' true purpose and the interests of the plane's survival.
Unexpectedly, after the call for help was sent out, several ancient races that had originally stayed out of the matter actually responded.
With the fluctuations of space jump, starships engraved with ancient runes tore through the void and came - obviously, they all saw the dangerous situation of the lips and teeth being cold, and were unwilling to sit idly by and watch the trading star realm fall completely.
What was even more surprising was that there were Void Pirates mixed in with the reinforcements.
The flagship named "Black Pearl" took the lead. Its hull was as black as ink, and a bleeding skull was embroidered on its sails.
Following behind him were nine ferocious main ships, breaking through the stardust and reaching the outside of the trading star realm.
Angels had been waiting here for a long time. When they saw the reinforcements arrive, they immediately stepped forward to greet them and led the ships and the strong men to the rest area.
But when these creatures who came to support saw the scene of the trading star realm clearly, they all froze in place and gasped.
In the direction of the Trading Star Realm, countless corpses were seen floating in the cold void.
There are void beasts with broken scales, angels with broken wings, and broken limbs of various races. The broken limbs and arms are so dense that they almost block out the starlight.
The dark red energy and black oil stains intertwined, dyeing this star field into a palette of death.
"This... this is not a trading star realm, it's clearly an open-air cemetery!" An elder of an ancient race spoke in a trembling voice, his voice full of disbelief.
On the bridge of the "Black Pearl", Jack held a pipe in his mouth, and his originally defiant eyes became gloomy. He took a deep puff of cigarette, and the smoke rings he exhaled quickly dissipated in the void.
"Damn it, this fight is even more brutal than when I tried to steal the starship..."
The angel's face was pale, clearly still recovering from his injuries. He whispered, "Everyone, the battle is more brutal than expected. Please move to the rest area to rest. I'll report the situation later."
But those powerful reinforcements were still looking at the void filled with corpses, their eyes were complicated - shock, anger, and a hint of indescribable chill.
This war was far more brutal than they had imagined.
After watching for a long time, the pirates finally came to their senses and followed the angel through the energy barrier to the star port.
The newly built starport was in the void, surrounded by a cold blue light, and the metal corridors were engraved with defensive runes.
The receptionists came and went in a hurry, each with an unconcealable solemnity on his face.
Gibbs followed Jack, and the sound of his boots hitting the ground was particularly clear in the empty corridor.
He couldn't help but lower his voice, his tone full of anxiety: "Jack, did you see those floating body parts?"
"Even the star beasts' scales have been gnawed down to shreds. These ships of ours... I'm afraid they won't even be enough to fill the gaps. Why don't we escape now before we get involved in the battle?"
Jack glanced back at him, his lips curled up with his usual nonchalant expression, but he didn't respond. He just made a "shut up" gesture at him.
The receptionist led everyone to the rest area and the heavy alloy door closed behind them.
Jack immediately sat up from the bed, picked up the laser pistol and put it on his waist, then carefully lay down at the door and looked around.
After finding that there was no one there, he quickly went towards his Black Pearl. He wanted to live a few more years.
Just as Jack reached the side door of the starport, a rough sound suddenly exploded behind him, like a grindstone scraping against an iron plate: "Jack!"
His whole body stiffened, and he slowly turned his head to see Xiao Feng leaning in the shadows at the end of the corridor. The light in his single eye was colder than the nebula outside the starport.
"I knew you'd run away when you saw that sea of corpses."
Xiao Feng stood up straight, the scimitar at his waist swaying slightly with his movement.
"A few months ago, you held up the Pirate Code and shouted 'live and die together', tying us all together on a boat. Now, you want to escape alone?"
Jack rolled his eyes and suddenly stood on tiptoe and took two cat steps.
His fingertips slid across the door frame in a playful manner, and he said with a playful smile, "Oh, it's Xiaofeng—I just came out to get some fresh air and... take care of my physiological needs. You know, I'm an old man."
Having said that, he turned around and walked back.
