Chapter 529: Species Diversity, Give Orders

After the Gods' Plane was incorporated into the Empire's territory, Martin knew very well that relying solely on the military to maintain rule was not a long-term solution.

He then mobilized 500,000 managers from the empire, all of whom were the backbone of the Loyalty Academy, and assigned them to various planes that were actually controlled.

Responsible for enforcing laws, coordinating people's livelihood, and consolidating the foundation of rule through more refined governance.

However, the dramatic changes in the Gods' Plane could not be completely concealed. Several surrounding higher-level planes quickly noticed the anomaly and sent secret envoys to investigate.

When the results of the investigation were reported back, the higher-ups of these planes were all shocked—the once powerful plane of the gods had been destroyed.

The three main gods including the God of Light died in battle, the five main gods became prisoners, and the entire country was completely controlled by an unfamiliar force.

"How long has it been?"

A great wizard from the wizard plane crushed the information jade slip in his hand, his eyes full of disbelief.

"The defense system of the Gods' Plane requires all of our strength to break through. How could it be breached so easily?"

Soon, more detailed intelligence was gathered: the invaders possessed a large interstellar fleet and galaxy-level golden behemoths under their command.

There are also dragon knights as elite combat forces, and their leader Martin has integrated the resources of the gods' planes with thundering means and is steadily digesting the fruits of victory.

As the news spread, the attitudes of several higher-level planes quietly changed.

Besides being shocked, there is more vigilance and fear.

They realized that an emerging force that was powerful enough to threaten all higher planes had risen.

In the meeting hall of the wizard plane, the old wizards were silent. The Xuanhuang Realm and the Huanggu Realm stopped the war. The giant father of M79 was sent out, and three giants were ready to talk to this Martin.

Only the new Pig King of the distant country didn't care about this. He had been accompanying his more than one hundred concubines and feeding them large amounts of meat while trapped in the small secret realm.

The entire upper plane circle is undercurrent due to the fall of the gods' plane.

A bigger storm is quietly brewing.

Martin sat in the palace of the divine realm, tapping the armrest with his fingertips, a serious look on his face.

Most of the living forces in the Light Pillar Plane have been transferred to the Gods Plane, and most of them are young and middle-aged people. Yode just received the news.

If more personnel were withdrawn from there, it would probably seriously hinder the foundational development of the Light Column Plane.

Martin replied to Yoder in his mind, "I understand," and then turned to the evil spirit Elodie: "Get ready. Transfer all the evil spirits accumulated during this period to the Gods' Plane. Yoder will be responsible for the transportation."

He has decided that in the next expansion operation, the evil gods will be the main force on the battlefield.

These creatures, born from chaos, are extremely powerful and do not need to worry about the impact of troop losses on the homeland, which can just fill the gap in the current legion's strength.

Elodie's consciousness fluctuated in the void, and she responded, "I will follow your orders. We estimate that the assembly and transportation can be completed within three days."

Martin nodded slightly and looked at the dimensional halo flowing outside the palace.

The digestion of the Gods' Plane is on track. In the face of challenges from other higher-level planes, more drastic measures must be taken.

The addition of the Legion of Divine Evil will become another sharp blade in his hands, enough to tear apart any barriers that hinder the expansion of the empire.

The flickering candlelight in the palace illuminated his calm profile. His expansion would not cease.

Three months passed in a flash. Martin almost made the palace his home, dealing with complicated affairs day and night.

Even with the newly formed cabinet to sort things out first, the massive amount of material allocation, population resettlement and coordination between ethnic groups still kept him busy.

After occupying the plane of the gods, Martin truly witnessed the complexity of this plane - the variety of creatures in it far exceeded imagination.

From the angels of light with wings on their backs, to the shadow tribe that live in the shadow rifts, to the elves that can give birth to magic plants... the myriad of strange races often dazzled him.

Initially, Martin had planned to eliminate all believers of the God of Light and other main gods to prevent future troubles.

But after getting in touch with them, I found that these believers included many extremely valuable races: for example, the dwarf tribe who were good at forging divine tools, the Protoss who could accurately predict the astrology, and the forest druids who mastered the ancient healing art.

Although they once believed in the old gods, they were not stubborn people. Their racial talents played an irreplaceable role in the development of the empire.

"It seems that a one-size-fits-all approach is not appropriate."

Martin muttered to himself as he looked at the racial list in front of him. He picked up a pen and circled the names of the races that had special skills.

"Pass the word on! Anyone willing to submit to the Empire and abide by its laws will be forgiven. The Cabinet must quickly formulate a racial integration plan so they can fully utilize their strengths under the new order."

After the cabinet officials took orders and left, Martin rubbed his brows and looked out the window.

The sunlight penetrated the energy barrier of the divine realm, casting warm spots of light on the ground.

Conquering is easy, but governing is difficult, especially in such a vast plane with so many races.

But he knew that as long as he could truly integrate these forces, the foundation of the empire would be more solid, enough to support him in moving towards a broader space.

Martin didn't care much about the possible revival of the three main gods, including the God of Light.

In his opinion, even if the Lord God revived, the worst that could happen would be that he would be defeated a few more times. Compared with the hidden potential of those races, the threat of the Lord God's resurrection was really insignificant.

However, necessary restrictions still need to be established.

After a moment's contemplation, Martin issued an order in a deep voice: "From today onwards, no force within the empire may worship any major god. Violators will be executed immediately."
