Deep in the void, observers from various forces stared at the screen.
Watching the Golden Behemoth tearing through the fleet's defenses like crushing ants, the leader of a certain faction rubbed the armrest of his chair with his fingertips and whispered, "These monsters raised by Martin are more troublesome than the intelligence said."
On the other side, the old wizards sat around a floating wizard formation diagram, their skinny fingers sliding across the runes that were flickering with faint light.
The leading old wizard opened his cloudy eyes and spoke in a hoarse and majestic voice.
"The twelve-fold soul-binding formation has been calibrated. Once it passes the third star port, it will be activated."
The young wizard whispered, "Master, can this formation trap them?"
"Can't be trapped,"
The old wizard sneered and pointed his finger at the skull rune in the center of the formation.
"But it can drain away half of their original power. Martin wants to break the balance with these four monsters, but he will have to pay the price."
The star stones around the witch formation began to heat up, and the rune chains moved in the void like living snakes, quietly wrapping around the path that the Golden Behemoth had to pass.
On the battlefield, the Golden Behemoth's giant sword was splitting another flagship, and the flying fragments hit the dark matter barrier, causing ripples.
An observer from an ancient race suddenly frowned.
"The wizards are moving...are they planning to reap the benefits?"
The leader's lips curled up in a mocking manner.
"The balance has been broken, and everyone wants to take advantage. Pass the order, once the witch formation is activated, our 'annihilation rays' are ready at any time - either seize the Behemoths, or... make them disappear completely."
The void was surging with undercurrents, but the four golden behemoths were completely unaware of it. They continued to roar and charge forward, completely unaware that they had become prey in the eyes of many forces.
The flames of the star port's explosion were reflected in their scarlet pupils, as well as in countless pairs of eyes in the dark, each with its own ulterior motives.
At this moment, inside the ship, Martin tapped his finger heavily on the tactical screen, marking out several abnormal energy fluctuations - the resistance of those fleets seemed fierce, but they always collapsed just in time in front of the sword of the Golden Behemoth, as if they were deliberately guiding the direction of the attack.
"Something's wrong," he muttered to himself. "Krent is just a vanguard. According to the foundation of the Matrix Galaxy, there should be at least five Gundam mechas stationed there. So far, we haven't even seen the first one."
"It must be recalled immediately."
Then, in his mind, he sent a message to Behemoth, asking him to give up the pursuit and return immediately!
On the battlefield, the Golden Behemoth, who was swinging his giant sword to split a cruiser, suddenly stopped.
A trace of unwillingness flashed in the scarlet eyes - their claws had already touched the alloy gate of the star port, and the smell of blood was stimulating their violent instincts.
But the military order was as strong as iron. The Behemoth in the front suddenly turned around and swept its huge tail across to force back the surrounding ships.
The other three immediately understood, formed a triangle formation, and retreated towards their own fleet under the fire.
The retreat caused a stir among the forces hidden in the shadows. The old wizards looked at the binding runes on the magic array, which were about to take shape, and the leader snorted coldly.
"The reaction was quick, but it was too late..."
He was about to give the order to activate the magic formation, but he saw the retreating golden behemoths suddenly turn around, and four golden giant swords pierced into the void at the same time.
A brutal energy shock wave exploded with them as the center, breaking the surrounding rune chains into pieces.
"These beasts!" The old wizard angrily slapped the formation diagram, and the light of the formation dimmed instantly.
Martin watched this scene from the bridge, his eyes growing colder: "There really is an ambush."
He stared at the obscure energy residues on the screen.
"Pass the order down. All ships must gather in formation and aim their main guns at the starport area. Since they won't come out, force them out."
The Golden Behemoth had retreated back to the fleet's protective circle, his body covered in blood but his eyes alert, his giant sword pointing diagonally into the void, and it was obvious that the murderous intent from just now had not subsided yet.
Martin looked at the seemingly peaceful starport ruins in the distance, his fingertips tapping on the console.
At this moment, in front of the observation platform of Xuanhuang Realm and Huanggu Plane, a figure covered in animal skins looked at the figure flashing on the big screen, and a low laugh echoed in the empty ship.
He ran his fingertips across the mark representing the Golden Behemoth, and a hint of fear flashed in his eyes, but more of excitement.
"Krent was able to severely damage Martin's fleet. Now these four galaxy-level monsters are at the door, and the old guys in the Matrix Galaxy are still hiding?"
The attendant beside him whispered, "The energy fluctuations of the magic circle are getting stronger and stronger. I'm afraid the wizards are about to take action again."
"Do it?"
The figure scoffed, rapping his knuckles on the countertop.
"A twelve-layer soul-binding array? It might work against ordinary galaxy-level creatures, but for golden behemoths, it will only arouse their ferocity. Even if Martin is killed, how will the situation end?"
He raised his eyes and looked into the depths of the star map.
"Matrix Galaxy is waiting for other forces to make the first move, and the other forces are waiting for Behemoth to use up Matrix's trump card... a bunch of idiots, didn't you see that Martin has already withdrawn his troops?"
On the star map, the mark of the Golden Behemoth was slowly retreating back to the fleet cluster, while the light of the rune representing the witch formation quickly dimmed after reaching its peak.
The figure shook his head and turned to walk deeper into the hall.
"Pass the order, our fleet retreat another three light years. It's not time to wade into this turbulent water yet. Only when these forces are mutually devastated will we have the opportunity to take action."
Other forces and ancient races saw that the tower ships and flying boats in the Xuanhuang Realm and the Huanggu Plane were retreating, and they did the same. No one wanted to be the first to stand out.
The ships retreated in an orderly manner, allowing Martin's reconnaissance ship to discover them, and the data was synchronized to the main ship he was on.
Martin's fingertips tapped lightly on the edge of the console, his eyes fixed on the slowly retreating ships of all parties on the screen - the Xuanhuang Realm's tower ship retracted the huge cannon hanging in the void.
