The route that originally pointed to the weak defense areas of small and medium-sized planes was slightly deviated due to energy disturbances and turned towards the planet with the most concentrated mineral veins of dragon knights.
"Let's go meet those big guys that can breathe fire."
Malga grabbed another handful of dried star fruits and stared at the crystal ball with a smile.
"It would be better if both sides were injured. That would be more interesting."
Her cheerful humming echoed in the palace, and the light and shadow in the crystal ball remained calm.
But no one knew that an avoidable collision was quietly brewing under Marga's guidance.
At this moment, the dragon knight Eric was suspended in the orbit of a newly cleared mining planet, and Martin's steady voice came to his mind.
He raised his hand to wipe the energy dust off his face, his voice hoarse from having just finished a battle.

Eric turned his head to look out the porthole. Dozens of transport ships were loading ore and prisoners onto the ships like worker ants, and the roar of the dragon occasionally pierced the vacuum.
"However, the resistance from the small and medium-sized planes was stronger than expected. Two tribes even detonated the plane core, causing us to lose three transport ships."
"That's fine," Martin said calmly. "Speed up! We must evacuate that star region in three days. The peace in the reef zone won't last long."
"Understood." Eric responded, cut off the communication, and turned to give orders to the other dragon knights.
"Next target, the Z-890 mining planet. Intelligence indicates there are rare metals stored there by the Matrix Galaxy. Have the dragon riders prepare and try to resolve the battle within the hour."
The giant dragons seemed to smell the scent of battle and spread their wings one after another. Their dragon scales reflected a cold light under the starlight.
Eric mounted his dragon and stroked its spurred neck.
"The last mining planet. Once we capture it, we'll return."
The dragon roared deafeningly and charged towards the Z-890 mining planet. The transport fleet followed closely behind, its engine tails trailing long streaks of light through the void.
Eric stared at the gray-blue planet ahead, completely unaware that the gaze on the other side of the crystal ball was watching their route with great interest—a secretly guided encounter was imminent.
