Chapter 58: Sky Shaman's Attack, Terrifying Power

As the transaction was successfully concluded, the representatives immediately returned to prepare for related matters.

At the command of the Orc King, the nine legion commanders responded quickly and began to dispatch their respective legions to march towards Frost Zero Pass in a mighty force.

At the same time, the army of the Dwarven Kingdom of Gondor also broke camp and headed towards Frost Zero Pass. Once the news spread, King Charlemagne and the Holy Land of Starlight also took action.

In an instant, several surrounding kingdoms fell into a highly tense atmosphere, and the shadow of war was looming, ready to break out at any moment.

When the Dwarf King learned that the Kingdom of Charlemagne and the Holy Land of Star Glory had sent troops, he was extremely anxious and hurriedly ordered the legion that was originally preparing to go to Frost Zero Pass to be urgently transferred back to the western border.

This time the two kingdoms were extremely aggressive, and the Dwarf King felt under tremendous pressure. After careful consideration, he decided to seek reinforcements from the Orc King to resist the attacks of the two kingdoms.

The Orc King now faced a difficult decision. According to the latest intelligence, nearly nine knight legions had assembled within Frost Zero Pass. After repeated discussions with his ministers, he realized that if the Dwarf Kingdom were conquered, his own kingdom would be doomed.

After repeatedly weighing the pros and cons, the Orc King made a decision to have the royal court dispatch two sky orcs and deploy two extraordinary legions on the border as bait to lure the enemy, in order to test whether the humans in Frost Zero Pass would take the initiative to attack.

The orc king planned that once humans attacked, he would let the sky shamans release powerful magic to destroy them. After all, there was an agreement between the kingdoms that the sky forces could not directly participate in the war unless their own country was attacked.

After the arrangements were made, the other extraordinary legions rushed to the western part of the Dwarf Kingdom to cooperate with the Dwarf army to resist the invasion of the human coalition forces.

Inside Frost Zero Pass, the nobles were frantically preparing for battle. However, after waiting for several days without even a glimpse of an orc, they were filled with confusion.

So they sent a small group of knights to investigate. Soon, the knights reported back that the orc army had settled down on the southern border and showed no signs of further movement.

At this moment, a representative who had previously done business with several giants brought Martin an important news: King Charlemagne and the Holy Land of Star Glory jointly sent troops to attack the Dwarf Kingdom, and the Orc Kingdom had already gone to the rescue.

Martin keenly sensed that this was a golden opportunity, and he immediately informed all the nobles within Frost Zero Pass of the news, allowing them to decide for themselves whether to gather their forces to attack the orc army.

After some discussion, the earls finally decided to seize this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attack the orc army. They even imagined that if all went well, they might be able to advance straight ahead. Having made up their minds, they quickly began to consolidate their forces.

Someone approached Martin, hoping he could dispatch the Golden Knights to help contain the two orc legion commanders. Martin thought for a moment and agreed, but asked for a 20% share of the spoils, but the nobles did not agree.

After completing their preparations, the nobles assembled their forces with remarkable speed. After half a day of preparation, the army marched out of Frost Zero Pass in a mighty procession, heading towards the orc army stationed at the border.

The Orcs were also not taking it easy, constantly sending out patrols to gather information. Finally, one patrol returned with crucial intelligence: the human army had left Frost Zero Pass and was heading towards them.

Upon hearing this, the two legion commanders immediately brought the news to the main tent. Inside the tent sat two gaunt, elderly orcs. Although they looked unremarkable, the two legion commanders showed no disdain and respectfully reported in detail the human army's attack.

The two old orcs nodded their heads in understanding. After the legion commander withdrew, their figures disappeared instantly. In the blink of an eye, they appeared in the sky.

The human army drew closer, nine legions in total. Arriving at the orcish defenses, they launched their attack without a word.

Human knights repeatedly charged into the orcish lines, only to be pushed back again. The two sides were locked in a fierce, stalemate. The two legion commanders were also tightly held by the four earls, and as time went on, wounds gradually appeared on their bodies.

At this moment, one of the legion commanders anxiously shouted towards the sky: "If you don't take action soon, the two orc legions will be wiped out!"

Upon hearing this, the four earls were startled. After a moment's reflection, cold sweats instantly broke out. Without caring about anyone else, they all took out their magic items and quickly fled towards Frost Zero Pass. They had never imagined that the orcs would be so unethical as to secretly send out the Sky Orcs.

But before they could get far, the two sky shamans in the sky attacked. Their momentum suddenly changed, and waves of pressure came down from above the knights, forcing the weaker knights to their knees.

Immediately afterwards, the sky darkened rapidly, and the aura of magical fluctuations grew stronger. Two balls of light fell from the sky, touching the ground as the knights watched. Then, seemingly slowly but in reality, they spread out extremely quickly.

This force knew no friend or foe, and the ball of light quickly enveloped everyone. With a resounding boom, two bottomless pits appeared on the ground, devoid of any living creatures. Seeing no signs of life around them, the two old orcs flashed and rushed towards the Orc King's Court.

Inside Frost Zero Pass, those small nobles with little power could only watch the large army go to war, and now they couldn't even see anyone who could talk to them.

Martin was handling affairs in the room. He believed that attacking the orc army was a sure thing. He had just finished processing a document when suddenly, two deafening noises were heard, and the entire Frost Zero Pass trembled.

The loud noise instantly broke the peace inside the customs, and everyone went out to check the situation.

Betan and the others instantly felt a terrifying aura that was several times more powerful than that of the Golden Knight. Almost subconsciously, they quickly protected Martin and gritted their teeth to resist the surging pressure.

After a long while, the momentum slowly dissipated. Martin's heart skipped a beat, and he secretly thought that something bad had happened.

He hurriedly ordered Betan: "Go to the orc border immediately and see what is happening over there!" After receiving the order, Betan did not dare to delay for a moment and galloped towards the orc border at full speed.

Arriving at the scene, Betan gasped at the sight before him. The battlefield was completely silent, with not a single soul in sight.

There were only two bottomless pits, the ground around them charred black and filled with the pungent smell of gunpowder. Betan was horrified by the horrific scene and didn't dare to stay even a second longer. He turned and ran towards Frost Zero Pass.

After returning to Frost Zero Pass, Betan hurriedly found Martin and reported everything he had seen. Martin was stunned, his face filled with shock and disbelief. He was speechless for a long time. He had not expected the difference between Sky and Gold strength to be so great.
