Chapter 169 How could Yu Yao withstand Commander Lu's intensity?

In Lu Ze's left hand, there appeared a black caterpillar with colorful ring patterns.

Yu Yao broke out in a cold sweat instantly, goosebumps rose all over her body, and her voice trembled as she said, "Quickly, move it further away."

Lu Ze originally planned to throw it away quietly, but now that it has been discovered, he has no choice but to take it to the yard to throw it away.

Yu Yao felt terrible just thinking about how that colorful caterpillar had just been on her head. She instructed Lu Ze, "Don't throw it in the yard, throw it outside."

Yu Yao only breathed a sigh of relief after watching Lu Ze throw the caterpillar into the bushes outside the yard.

God knows, besides spiders, her biggest fears were caterpillars and snakes.

Seeing the fear on her face, Lu Ze helplessly comforted her, "I was afraid you would find out, so I wanted to throw it away secretly."

Yu Yao clutched her chest, panting, "I didn't know it would be this. It scared me to death."

Overwhelmed by lingering fear, Yu Yao threw a small tantrum, "It's all your fault for letting your guard down and letting me get away with it so easily."

Because it's you, I'm willing to let my guard down.

However, Lu Ze kept in mind Qin Ye's golden rule for dating: when you argue with your partner, don't argue, and admit your mistake first, regardless of whether you are right or wrong.

Lu Ze looked at the cold sweat on Yu Yao's forehead and apologized sincerely.

"I was wrong, I will definitely be more careful in the future."

This apology wasn't just because of Qin Ye's words, but more so because of heartfelt heartache and self-blame.

Lu Ze took a handkerchief to wipe the sweat from her forehead, but Yu Yao suddenly stepped back, saying, "You haven't washed your hands yet. Go wash your hands first. I'll do it myself."

Lu Ze went to wash his hands, while Yu Yao took a handkerchief to wipe the cold sweat from her forehead and sat down to rest.

After this little incident, Yu Yao's hunger was scared away.

She only ate a small bowl of the braised ribbonfish with yellow lantern chili sauce that evening, and then lost her appetite.

After Lu Ze finished eating, he cleaned up the dishes and said, "Teach me how to make braised ribbonfish in can. I'll take care of the rest."

Yu Yao thought for a moment. The ribbonfish were already cooked, and there was no difficulty in putting the rest into jars, so she nodded.

In those days, there was no advanced technology or rudimentary techniques. Canned goods were all made using traditional methods, and without any preservatives, their shelf life could reach several months to about a year.

Don't think that traditional methods are inferior to modern ones. In fact, in terms of health and effectiveness, traditional methods are in no way inferior to modern production processes.

To make canned goods with a long shelf life, firstly, ensure that the canning jars and lids are clean and free of oil. Secondly, do not fill them too full. After that, properly seal them, sterilize them with high-temperature steam, and allow them to cool naturally. Then, a qualified can of canned goods is ready.

Lu Ze was busy at the stove, while Yu Yao stood by and directed him.

It is said that a serious and focused man is the most attractive. Looking at Lu Ze, Yu Yao realized the power of this statement.

His fingers were long and slender with distinct knuckles. He used a spoon to carefully scoop the braised ribbonfish into the upside-down, drying jar.

The air was filled with the aroma of braised ribbonfish, but Yu Yao could clearly detect the subtle citrus scent that belonged to Lu Ze.

Like the aroma of braised ribbonfish, it not only smells good but is also delicious.

Yu Yao's gaze fell on his thin lips, a hint of desire stirring within her.

The phrase "a feast for the eyes" took on a concrete meaning at this moment.

"Lu Ze." Yu Yao suddenly called out his name.

Lu Ze turned around and looked down at her: "What's wrong?"

Yu Yao looked at him seriously and said, "You have some sauce on your right cheek. Look down and I'll wipe it off for you."

Lu Ze hummed in response, and without any warning, turned his right cheek toward Yu Yao.

Yu Yao tiptoed, grabbed Lu Ze's collar, and pulled it down, leaving her soft red lips on the sauce on his right cheek.

Lu Ze was completely taken aback and was momentarily stunned.

Yu Yao stuck out her pink tongue and gently licked the sauce off his face. Her smooth and soft tongue moved nimbly like a willow branch, licking his cheeks and quickly consuming the sauce.

"Okay." She released her grip on Lu Ze's collar.

Just as she was about to leave, Lu Ze put his arm around her slender waist and pulled her closer to him.

"Is it good?" Lu Ze asked in a deep voice, his eyes dark as he stared at her red lips.

The fresh scent of grass and trees wafted into her nose. Yu Yao looked into those dark, deep, and aggressive eyes, and her heart trembled slightly, feeling a little scared.

Lu Zeyi grasped her waist, and with his other hand gently lifted her chin, tentatively and slowly approaching her.

Yu Yao panicked a little and instinctively shrank back.

Lu Ze stopped, fixed his gaze on her for a moment, and gently stroked her soft lips with his long, slender fingers. "Is that alright?"

Yu Yao swallowed nervously, placing her hands on his bulging chest muscles, feeling his heart pounding violently beneath her palms.

She was a little stunned. She looked up at him and realized his nervousness and affection from his cautious and tentative movements.

Despite Lu Ze's usual calm and aloof demeanor, deep down he was just as nervous as I was.

Yu Yao suddenly became less afraid, stretched out her arms and wrapped them around his neck, answering his question with her actions.

This time, her lips gently pressed against his thin lips.

Realizing what was happening, Lu Ze grabbed her slender waist with both hands, lifted her up, and sat her on the stove. He gently cupped her face in his hands, as if holding a beloved treasure, and tenderly returned her kiss.

His kisses were a little awkward at first, and he even bit her lips occasionally, but with Yu Yao's intentional or unintentional guidance, he gradually became more familiar with them.

The kisses, which started as light, gentle, and tentative touches, became passionate and intense.

He really does learn everything quickly, and he even showed extraordinary talent in this matter.
