By the time I finished, it was almost noon.
There was a knock on the dormitory door. Yu Yao opened it and saw Xu Xiaohui.
Xu Xiaohui smiled and said, "Yu Yao, are you all ready? I'll take you to the cafeteria for lunch."
"Almost there, wait for us a moment, we'll be right there."
After Aunt Liu and the others finished packing their things, the group and Xu Xiaohui left the dormitory.
As soon as I stepped out of the dormitory, I saw Zhu Xinmin pacing back and forth in the garden downstairs.
Zhu Xinmin saw them too. The boy jogged over and said with a smile, "Sister Yu, long time no see!"
"Long time no see. Congratulations on your promotion."
Zhu Xinmin scratched the back of his head sheepishly. "Thank you, Sister Yu."
On the way to the cafeteria, Yu Yao also ran into other people from the Starfish Food Factory. After they all gathered, they went to the cafeteria together.
Having not seen each other for a long time, Zhu Xinmin shared some new ideas he had for improving the machine with Yu Yao. Yu Yao also happened to have some questions about the machine that she wanted to discuss with him, so the two of them decided to walk and talk.
After lunch, Xu Xiaohui and Zhu Xinmin had to go back to work and didn't stay long.
Yu Yao and the other four went back to their dormitory for a midday rest.
The Canton Fair doesn't officially start for another two days. We need to set up our booths the day after tomorrow, so we only have free time tomorrow and this afternoon.
After parting ways with Liu Chaoying and the others, Yu Yao returned to her dormitory.
Someone was eating in the dormitory when they heard the door open. Niu Xianhua smiled and said to Yu Yao, "Comrade Yu, you're back just in time. Let me introduce you. This is Mu Wan, a colleague from our pastry workshop. Speaking of which, you're both from Qin Province, so you might even be from the same hometown."
