Yu Yao was awakened by the chirping of birds outside the window, and she looked around.
Is she in the hospital?
Yu Yao tried to sit up, but as soon as she moved, she realized that someone was holding her hand.
It's Lu Ze.
He sat in the chair, holding her hand, and fell asleep.
Yu Yao glanced at her watch; it was eight in the morning. Had she slept all night?
Lu Ze had grown a beard on his chin and looked rather haggard. He must have been terrified by her.
Yu Yao carefully withdrew her hand, took the coat from the bedside, and draped it over Lu Ze.
As soon as the clothes were placed on the table, Lu Ze opened his eyes.
"Did I wake you up?" Yu Yao looked at his bloodshot eyes and touched his face with a pained expression. "Didn't you sleep all night? Go back to sleep a little longer."
Lu Ze held her hand and said gently, "I'm fine, I won't sleep. Are you hungry? Would you like some water?"
Having not eaten dinner last night, and with another night gone, Yu Yao was actually quite hungry.
"I'm hungry, I want to eat something."
Lu Ze patted her head. "Wait here for me, I'll go to the cafeteria to get you food. What do you want to eat?"
"Anything is fine, as long as it has meat."
Lu Ze poured her a glass of sugar water. "Drink some water first. I'll be right back."
Yu Yao drank some water, went to the toilet, and then lay on the bed with her eyes closed to rest.
I don't know if it's because she slept all night, but she looks particularly energetic now.
Just then, voices came from outside the private ward; it was Accountant Liu and Liu Chaoying.
"This is truly gratifying. People like Jiang Zhiwei should be taken away for investigation."
Tao Xueying asked Accountant Liu, "Accountant Liu, I heard that although this incident didn't escalate, it was still serious. The factory has decided to remove Jiang Zhiwei from her position as workshop director and promote Zhao Shengli to the position. Is that true?"

She only meant to pretend, but she ended up actually fainting.
Yin Susu and the others breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing this.
Tao Xueying sat on the edge of the bed, holding Yu Yao's hand. "Class monitor, you have no idea how scared we were. Luckily, you and the baby in your belly are alright, otherwise I definitely wouldn't have let Jiang Zhiwei off the hook."
Yu Yao was stunned for a moment, "The baby in your belly?"
