Chapter 4: She's foul-mouthed, let's slap her!

Lu Ze and Song Yiming found the jeep. Song Yiming sat in the driver's seat and waited for Lu Ze to change his clothes.

He had a muscular physique under his military green vest and was also handsome, which made Song Yiming envious.

No wonder so many aunties and grandmas on the island want to bring the regimental commander to their homes. If he looked like the regimental commander, wouldn't it be easy for him to find a girlfriend?

After changing his clothes, Lu Ze looked upright and dignified in his military uniform, with the top button of his collar fastened, adding a touch of asceticism to his cold and handsome features.

He's over 1.8 meters tall, looks slim in clothes but muscular when undressed, and looks good in anything.

"Commander, your lip is cut." Song Yiming pointed to the area on his lower lip.

Lu Ze paused, his expression unchanged, and reached out to touch the corner of his mouth.

The skin is broken.

The image of the Baihe River flashed through Lu Ze's mind, leaving him with a puzzled expression.

Song Yiming suddenly asked gossipy, "Commander, that female comrade should be awake by now. Do you think she'll remember what she did to me?"

After he finished speaking, he glanced at Lu Ze's mouth with a mocking look, seemingly unintentionally.

Lu Ze was fastening his watch strap. The metallic strap reflected a sharp light, creating interplay of light and shadow on his face, making his already chiseled features appear even more striking.

Upon hearing this, he glanced at Song Yiming almost imperceptibly and said coolly, "Who assessed your swimming training?"

Song Yiming stammered instantly: "This...this doesn't say that you can't join the army if you can't swim."

Noticing the commander's gaze, Song Yiming's voice grew softer and softer until it finally disappeared completely.

He was wronged too. He fell into the water when he was a child and became terrified of it. He tried to learn for a long time but never succeeded.

Lu Ze lowered his sleeves and called out, "Song Yiming."

Song Yiming saluted reflexively: "Here!"

"I don't care if you're a raw recruit or not, all the soldiers under my command must know how to swim. I'll give you a week. If you can't learn, you're going to the communications department."

Song Yiming: "Reporting to the commander, I guarantee the mission will be completed."

Lu Ze hummed in agreement. "Let's drive."

On the other side, Aunt Ge looked at Yu Yao and asked in a soft voice, "You're awake. Are you feeling unwell?"

Having just encountered such a thing, Aunt Ge was afraid of frightening her, so she softened her rough, loud voice.

Yu Yao looked in the direction of the sound.

The speaker was a woman in her fifties, with a robust build, a square face, and a black mole under her lip. She was gently wiping the water off her face with a handkerchief.

The sound just just doesn't sound right.

"You are... Aunt Ge?" Yu Yao found the information about Aunt Ge in the original owner's memories and asked in a hoarse voice.

When Aunt Ge heard that she recognized her, she exclaimed happily.

I got too excited and couldn't hold it in, so I let out a hoarse, croaking voice.

Aunt Ge: "..."

Yu Yao thought the old lady was quite cute.

Afraid of embarrassing her, she coughed lightly and smiled at Aunt Ge, "Aunt Ge, thank you. I'll wipe the rest of the water myself."

This made everyone laugh, and Aunt Ge's eyes lit up.

Yu Yao's bright, clear eyes seemed to speak volumes when she looked at people. Her fair, delicate face was as smooth as a peeled hard-boiled egg, and her eyes crinkled when she smiled, making her incredibly endearing.

They have the same face, so why does she think Yu Yao looks prettier?

"Aunt Ge, did you save me when I jumped into the river?"

“I dare not take credit for this,” Aunt Ge said with a smile, handing her a handkerchief. “The person who saved you was a comrade of the People’s Liberation Army, my son’s comrade-in-arms. This handkerchief is his too.”

Comrades of the People's Liberation Army?

The images in her mind were a jumbled mess of images, mostly memories of the original owner of the body. She was in a daze after jumping into the river and had almost no recollection of what happened.

A handsome, unfamiliar face flashed through my mind. Could he be the PLA comrade who saved me?

As for how the man saved her, Yu Yao couldn't remember at all.

Yu Yao looked left and right, but didn't see anyone.

Aunt Ge smiled and said, "You're looking for the People's Liberation Army comrades who rescued you, aren't you? No need to look anymore, they had a mission and have already left."

She spread the leaves in her hand in front of Yu Yao, and said in a rough voice, "Here, try some wild berries I picked. You sweated so much just now, and your body temperature was so high. Your throat must be sore. Eat some wild berries to soothe your throat."

"Don't worry, I washed it with spring water, it's very clean."

Aunt Ge opened another leaf, "There are mulberries here, all washed clean. Eat some to replenish your fluids."

Looking at the bright red, juicy prickly ...

These wild fruits were still glistening with spring water, clearly indicating that the largest ones had been carefully selected and processed.

"Thank you, ma'am. It's very sweet and delicious."

The sweet juice soothed my throat, and the burning sensation was much better.

"No need to thank me, eat more if you like it..." After saying this, Aunt Ge hesitated for a moment, then asked, "Yu girl, do you remember what happened before? How did you get drugged like that?"

Just as Yu Yao was about to speak, she saw Yu Honglan.

At the same time, Yu Honglan also saw Yu Yao.

"I think there's someone in front of the grove. I think I heard my older sister's voice?"

Looking over, the riverbank was densely wooded and dimly lit, but two people could be vaguely seen, one of whom really did look a bit like Yu Yao.

"Why are there two people? Could they really be random men?"

Granny Zhu's eyes lit up: "It must be a wild man! Everyone hurry up, don't let him get away!"

After saying that, she took the lead and ran off, with the others following closely behind.

Aunt Ge also looked at Yu Honglan and the others. "It seems to be the brigade leader and the brigade's people. Your sister is here too. They must be here to see you. Let's go over."
