The doctor treated Yu Yao, but she was lying in bed, not at ease.
"An'an!"
Yu Yao suddenly woke up from her nightmare, her breathing rapid.
Wu Wanying, who was standing by, rushed over when she heard the sound. "Zhizhi, you're finally awake."
Yu Yao snapped out of her daze and grabbed Wu Wanying's hand. "Mom, how is An'an? Have they been found?"
Wu Wanying's eyes were red and swollen. She shook her head. "Lu Ze went to arrest someone and hasn't come back yet. I don't know the situation."
How long was I unconscious?
Wu Wanying glanced at her watch. "It'll be an hour in a quarter of an hour."
Yu Yao felt a pang of pain in her heart. An'an was so young, and she would cry incessantly if she couldn't see her for even a few minutes every day. She wondered how badly she was crying now.
Yu Yao couldn't bear to just sit there doing nothing.
"Mom, wait for me at the hospital. I'm going out to check on things." Yu Yao got dressed, sat up and got out of bed. As soon as she stood up, she collapsed to the side due to exhaustion.
Wu Wanying was holding the child in her arms and had no time to react.
Just as Yu Yao was about to fall to the ground, someone flew over and caught her.
Princess Lu Ze picked up Yu Yao and placed her back on the hospital bed, tucking her in. "It's getting windy outside. You're still in your postpartum period, so you can't go out."
Ignoring everything else, Yu Yao grabbed his arm, "Lu Ze, you're back. Does that mean the culprit has been caught? Who did it? Where's An'an?"
Lu Ze tidied her messy hair and said in a deep voice, "It was Wang Xiu who colluded with enemy agents. Qin Ye and Song Yiming have already gone after them, and I believe we'll have results soon."
"Don't worry, An'an will be alright."
Just then, there was a knock on the ward door, and Song Yiming appeared at the entrance. "Commander, everyone has been captured. But, but..."
Song Yiming glanced at Yu Yao, then hesitated, as if he wanted to say something but couldn't.
