Chapter 21 Playing Tennis
Li Qianni returned to her dormitory in tears.
She first hid in her room and cried unrestrainedly for a while.
Then wipe away your tears and calm down.
She cannot be defeated by Bai Zhenzhu; she must take revenge and make Bai Zhenzhu pay a terrible price.
So she mustered her courage, put aside her reserve, opened her phone's contact list, and called Shi Jin.
This was the first time the two had interacted since Valentine's Day.
Meanwhile, Shi Jin had just come out of the library and was heading to the basketball court.
His phone rang, and when he took it out, he saw it was Li Qianni.
This was something he never expected; he thought Li Qianni would never talk to him again.
After hesitating for a few seconds, I couldn't wait to answer the phone.
Feeling a little guilty, she called out, "Qianni..."
"Shi Jin, I...I have something I want to tell you. Can you come see me now?"
She couldn't wait foolishly any longer. Love isn't something you can wait for, and a guy as outstanding as Shi Jin was someone she needed to fight for.
An hour later, in a very upscale coffee shop.
Li Qianni sat obediently and docilely opposite Shi Jin, stirring her coffee in her cup somewhat awkwardly.
The two were silent for a while before Shi Jin finally spoke.
"Qianni, I'm sorry, something came up on Valentine's Day, so I couldn't keep our appointment..."
A belated apology—this is what Shi Jin owes her.
Li Qianni replied very understandingly, "It's okay, Shi Jin. I've already forgotten about that matter. Besides, everyone has something important to do at the last minute. I can understand."
Shi Jin already felt guilty and had been running away from the situation. Now, hearing Li Qianni say this, he truly felt that the girl he liked was a kind and innocent angel.
I like her even more now.
"Qianni, how can you be so good to me!"
Li Qianni lowered her head shyly, her cheeks flushed, looking charming and adorable.
And those ambiguous currents that had briefly disappeared have quietly reappeared at this moment.
Li Qianni was overjoyed.
She knew Shi Jin still liked her; that bitch Bai Zhenzhu was just trying to sow discord.
"Shi Jin, will we still be good friends in the future?"
"Of course!" Shi Jin answered without hesitation.
He wanted to say that he wanted to be not only the best friend, but also the best boyfriend.
But because of what happened on Valentine's Day, he felt it was better to think about confessing his feelings more carefully.
We can't leave Li Qianni with an irresponsible image any longer.
And so, another plan to confess one's feelings gradually took root in one's mind...
...
The weekend arrived quickly.
Bai Zhenzhu and Fu Nansheng made an appointment to play tennis together.
Bai Zhenzhu wore a light blue low-cut, midriff-baring sports tank top, a white mini pleated skirt, white knee-high socks, and a pair of white sneakers.
With her hair in a high ponytail and wearing light, natural makeup, she exudes youthful energy and vitality.
Those beautiful legs were long and straight, and every time she bent down to pick up the ball, the top of her thighs would be exposed...
It makes one's mind wander.
When Li Qianni and Shi Jin entered the tennis court, they happened to see Bai Zhenzhu bending down to pick up the ball.
Those legs, that cleavage, that alluring area...
She confidently displays her great figure, leaving nothing to the imagination.
The essence of sexiness is that it's impossible to look away.
Li Qianni looked at her with envy, then glanced down at her own overly conservative attire, instantly feeling inferior.
Shi Jin, standing to the side, was visibly shocked.
Is Bai Zhenzhu dressed like this to play tennis?
What's the difference between this and wearing a bikini?
But... her figure really is just too outstanding...
His gaze was unconsciously drawn to her.
Just as Shi Jin was inexplicably drawn to something, Li Qianni suddenly realized something terrifying.
Was Shi Jin's offer to play tennis last night intentional or just a coincidence?
But even though she and Shi Jin had known each other for so long, this was the first time they had arranged to play tennis together, and it just so happened that they ran into Bai Zhenzhu on their first date.
This made Li Qianni think more, and she even suspected that Shi Jin had come with Bai Zhenzhu on purpose.
She felt a growing sense of crisis and looked at Bai Zhenzhu warily.
The sudden intrusion of the two people caught Fu Nansheng's attention.
Unexpectedly, it turned out to be a senior I knew well, and his ambiguous girlfriend?
So he put down his tennis racket and said to Bai Zhenzhu, "Zhenzhu, wait a minute, I ran into a senior..."
Bai Zhenzhu smiled sweetly, put down her tennis racket, and obediently followed Fu Nansheng to Shi Jin.
Fu Nansheng politely greeted him, "Senior, you're here to play tennis too!"
Shi Jin replied with a nonchalant "hmm," seemingly unwilling to discuss further, though his gaze kept drifting towards Bai Zhenzhu.
Bai Zhenzhu's smile became even brighter.
Instead of responding to Shi Jin's gaze, he fixed his eyes on Li Qianni's complex expression.
Then, in a very familiar tone, she said, "Qianni, what a coincidence that you're here too!"
Li Qianni gave an awkward laugh, then nervously glanced at the surprised Shi Jin beside her.
"You two know each other?!"
Shi Jin glanced back and forth between the two, as if connecting something in his mind.
Bai Zhenzhu, who should have felt guilty, remained remarkably calm. Li Qianni, on the other hand, explained as if she had done something wrong, her mouth dry: "Yes, Shi Jin, Zhenzhu and I have been friends since childhood, and we are still classmates in the same department."
The seemingly reasonable explanation made Shi Jin, who was already suspicious, realize that something was wrong.
The main reason was that he didn't trust Bai Zhenzhu's character.
Then he turned to Bai Zhenzhu and asked, "Are you and Qianni classmates?"
Bai Zhenzhu replied with a smile, "Yes, Senior Shi Jin, we are very good classmates and...best friends..."
Li Qianni watched as Bai Zhenzhu lied without blushing or turning pale, but dared not expose her.
The situation is a bit complicated, and she was afraid that saying too much would lead to making mistakes.
It wouldn't be good if Shi Jin misunderstood me.
Fu Nansheng, who was standing to the side, was equally curious, not expecting that the three of them knew each other.
And... why does he feel that Shi Jin's gaze towards Bai Zhenzhu is a little inappropriate...?
Finally, he took the initiative to smooth things over, saying, "I didn't expect that after all this time, we all know each other. This makes things much easier. How about we play a game of tennis together?"
“Of course I have no problem with it, it all depends on Qianni and Senior Shijin.” Bai Zhenzhu was the first to agree.
...
