Chapter 308 Time is Money

Upon receiving the message from her brother, Maile had already gathered her roommates in the library.

Upon seeing the conflict and turmoil outside the school, Melo immediately believed her brother's words and quickly pulled her roommates and classmates to pack up and box those rare books.

This even led to conflicts with many students and teachers in the library, but fortunately, they managed to keep their belongings and hide in a small room near the main entrance, waiting for Ye Xi and the others to arrive.

Almost a day had passed since they arrived. They had thought it would take several more days for the other party to come, but they arrived much sooner than expected.

Most importantly, this group of people was so powerful that they intimidated everyone as soon as they appeared and drove everyone away.

The powerful strength immediately put Mai Le at ease, and she was also grateful for her brother's discerning eye and good fortune.

"Oh! This is much easier than I thought! Big guy, could you move aside? We might need to use your window!" Upon hearing the response, Mina looked up at the room on the second floor and said cheerfully. Then, she led the goblins and activated the jet propulsion function on their armor, rushing towards the window where Mel was.

"Oh! Oh! Okay!" Melo said nervously, leading his classmates to quickly make way. Then they saw these ugly little guys leap and rush into the window of the second-floor room.

"Oh~~ This must be at least a Tier 2 warrior's physical abilities!" Many of the girls exclaimed in surprise. They hadn't expected these little guys to have combat power of Tier 2 or higher. In the Aini Empire, this level of strength was already the standard for a powerful warrior.

“Great! Safe landing. Which one of you is Melo? You mean Mike’s sister, um, I think that’s her name?” Mina asked uncertainly, as she had never met Mike.

"I! I'm Melo, it's nice to meet you!" Melo said nervously as he stepped forward, feeling both curious and afraid of these extraterrestrial visitors.

“Oh! Very good. Your brother said you prepared a lot of gifts. Get them ready. We only have twenty minutes, otherwise there might be danger outside. Now, take what you prepared and the people you want to take with you, and prepare to head to a new world!” Mina said, while constantly waving her spatial wand to summon a spatial portal back to the territory.

"Oh! Okay! Everything's in this room!" Melo said quickly, while looking in surprise at Mina. A black spatial rift appeared out of nowhere and was rapidly expanding.

"My God! This is a lost spatial magic! There's an energy fluctuation within it that I've never sensed before!" A mature woman beside her exclaimed, her eyes filled with curiosity and longing.

"Spatial magic?" Upon hearing her words, everyone exclaimed in surprise. This was their magic teacher, and spatial magic had long been lost on the continent. To witness such a long-lost technique was truly astonishing.

"Shh~~~ This is a very delicate task, Mina needs a quiet environment!" Hearing the exclamations around her, Mina pointed to her index finger and said, then continued to inscribe her spatial magic.

Soon, a spatial gate as tall as a wall appeared before everyone. Through the spatial barrier, they could see a world filled with birdsong and fragrant flowers.

"Boom!" A huge roar resounded, and a scorching flame shot out from the window, and everyone felt the terrifying temperature.

Mina calmly whistled, then said, "Alright, once we pass through this door, we'll reach our dream garden. Let's hurry, after all, time is money!"

Before Melo and the others could understand what these words meant, they saw the goblins who had followed them carrying boxes of books that they had prepared beforehand into the spatial gate, entering the other side of the world filled with birdsong and fragrant flowers.

"Is that your world? So are we going to live in your world?" The mature female teacher stopped the group who were about to step forward, and looked at Mina with a serious expression. She could sense that there was a completely new world behind the door, and once they went through it, their future lives might be very different.

“Yes! It’s our world, but we don’t have much time now. Let’s go there first. Of course, you can choose not to go, but that’s what Melo’s brother wants!” Mina said bluntly. She only cared about whether the books could be transported there as soon as possible. As for the others, she didn’t care about anyone except Melo, who was mentioned.

Ye Xi and the others had limited time to hold out. They didn't have much time to explain things to everyone. Twenty minutes seemed like a long time, but with the books to move, it was very limited. In fact, several minutes had already passed in just a short while.

"I'll go in first!" Hearing that it was her brother's idea, and thinking about the chaos outside, Mai Le gritted her teeth and, without knowing anything, resolutely chose to trust her brother and step into this unknown world.

Once someone makes a choice, others are likely to compromise as well. After all, everyone has witnessed the chaos of war outside, and passing through this door will at least bring temporary peace.

The female teacher gritted her teeth, released her grip on the student's hand, and led everyone into the teleportation portal.

Meanwhile, Mina's previous high-profile shouting naturally angered the lords' families outside.

It's fine to fight for something, but if you sneak away with your people beforehand, that's a bit like bullying people.

Most of those present were low-ranking lords who had not mastered spatial teleportation technology, so they could only wait for the people from above to arrive and teleport them together.

While they were vying for the spoils, it was a bit unfair for them to try and sneak away with their men beforehand. Naturally, the surrounding lords could no longer stand idly by and took action to try and drive Ye Xi and his group away.

Although they were mainly composed of low-ranking clans, they had the advantage of numbers and strength. In addition, there were inevitably some high-ranking clans mixed in. The combination of these forces brought a lot of pressure to Ye Xi and the others. In particular, they had to avoid using overly powerful moves that could destroy the buildings in the academy. For a time, they even showed signs of being suppressed.

"Chirp~~~" The black birds, Bifang, and fire crows flew in the air, constantly spewing out scorching flames. However, after hearing Mina's shout, these lord's relatives seemed determined to repel Ye Xi and the others, launching a frenzied attack regardless of casualties. Ye Xi and the others' defensive circle actually shrank continuously under the attack of the crowd.
