"No need for formalities, raise your head."
"..." Mu Run had no choice but to look up.
After looking her over, Emperor Xingwen said, "Your face is quite pretty. You will serve me tonight."
Mu Run: "...Your Majesty, I am not feeling well and I am afraid I will spoil Your Majesty's mood."
Emperor Xingwen frowned. "Then forget it. You may leave."
Mu Run breathed a sigh of relief. "Yes, Your Majesty."
Emperor Xingwen glanced at Mu Run one last time before leaving with his men.
Mu Run wished he could transform into Gray Gray and fly away directly through the air.
Without even returning to Guangxiu Palace, Mu Run left the palace directly. She had no intention of actually serving Emperor Xingwen in bed.

Shao Rong remained unmoved.
Yan Bingyan said, "Come in."
"Yes." Shao Rong then lifted the curtain and came in.
Mu Run said, "He really only listens to his master, a loyal dog indeed."
Shao Rong glanced at her. "What do you want?"
Mu Run asked, "Was anything unusual in the room after I fell asleep last night?"
Shao Rong replied, "No."
Mu Run said, "Didn't you hear footsteps?"
Shao Rong said, "I already said last night that I didn't hear it."
"Did you mishear?" Yan Bingyan asked.
Mu Run looked at Shao Rong, "You really didn't find anything?"
A hint of displeasure flashed in Shao Rong's eyes. "After you fell asleep last night, there was no sound in the room. If there was any, it was just you tossing and turning in bed like a pancake."
