Fu Yunchen quickly scooped up a glutinous rice ball with a spoon and fed it to her lips.
Mu Run opened her mouth and ate it, chewing it carefully. The more she ate, the more delicious it tasted. After swallowing, she opened her mouth again and said, "I want more."
Fu Yunchen immediately served another one...
Seeing that they were getting along as well as before, Hongmi, who was serving them, smiled with relief and quietly withdrew.
Outside the palace, Lady Cai brought over a basket of small meat buns. Seeing Hongmi come out, she asked, "How is Your Majesty's appetite?"
“It will be great to have an adult with you,” Hongmi said with a smile.
Cai carried the small meat buns inside, put them down, and then hurriedly came out again.
Seeing that Hongmi was gazing intently at the clear blue sky, he understood what she was looking at. "The rain has stopped and the sky is clear. This year is going to be a good year."
“Yes,” Hongmi sighed.
Suddenly, hurried footsteps approached, and the two looked in the direction of the sound.
Two older children, one younger child, three children in total.
And each one of them was more anxious than the last.
Seeing this, Madam Cai hurriedly said, "My little darlings, slow down and don't fall."
Hongmi looked at Zhuangzhuang, who was the last one. She had raised him herself, so she had a special affection for him and gave him extra advice: "Zhuangzhuang, slow down."
Zhuangzhuang ran up to her, panting and anxious, and said, "Mother Queen, she... she's gone!"
Hongmi replied with a smile, "She's eating. She's not missing. Go inside and check."
"Is Mother Queen eating?" Zhuangzhuang stared wide-eyed in surprise.
“Yes.” Hongmi took his little hand. “I’ll take you there.”
Seeing how much Tuantuan and Huanhuan had grown, Mu Run was filled with surprise and delight. "It feels like only a day has passed, and they've grown so much."
He doesn't look much different from when he was a child; he's just grown a bit bigger.
The two children felt no sense of unfamiliarity with her, because they could see Mu Run sleeping every day and would tell her about what happened to them each day.
Mu Run hugged the two children, kissing their foreheads and their soft, pretty little faces again and again. "You've grown so much. I still love you as much as before, no... I love you even more."
The two children laughed happily together. Tuantuan, being a boy, was a bit more reserved, but Huanhuan, with her outgoing and cheerful personality, let out a laugh that carried all the way outside the hall.
Standing at the door, Zhuangzhuang, suddenly feeling timid and hesitant to go in, listened enviously to her brother and sister's laughter.
Hongmi gently nudged him, encouraging him to go inside as well.
But Zhuangzhuang just stood there without moving.
In the end, Redmi used a little force and pushed him in.
Mu Run looked up at the little boy at the door. Zhuang Zhuang, with his eyes open, looked even more like Fu Yunchen.
She raised her hand and beckoned to him, "Come here, Zhuangzhuang."
Zhuangzhuang subconsciously looked at Fu Yunchen, as he always had to get Fu Yunchen's permission before he could get close to Mu Run.
Fu Yunchen didn't look at him this time, but carefully removed the fish bones from a small fish.
Zhuangzhuang tentatively took two steps towards Murun, and seeing that Fu Yunchen still did not react, she became a little bolder and ran towards Murun.
"Mother Queen~"
The child's clear and innocent voice sounded like heavenly music to Mu Run's ears.
Mu Run let go of Huanhuan and Tuantuan, opened her arms and hugged him, "Yes, you can call me Mom in private, just like your older brother and sister."
Zhuangzhuang was so thin and light, probably weighing less than thirty pounds. Mu Run felt sorry for her and brought over the small fish that Fu Yunchen had already deboned, asking, "Do you like to eat fish?"
