Chapter 487 Foodie Tea Master

The carriage entered the palace, and Fu Yunchen stopped at the palace gate.

"Boss, what's wrong?" Qiao Dongzi asked.

Following Mu Run's words, Fu Yunchen said, "I have a junior brother who has come to the capital."

"Junior brother?" Qiao Dongzi had never heard of this person before. "What's his name?"

"Yong Li. That should be the person you told me about."

"The swordsman who chased the Corpse General?" When the Corpse General wreaked havoc at the academy, a young swordsman suddenly appeared and severely injured the Corpse General in a few moves. Otherwise, Mu Run would not have been able to kill the Corpse General so swiftly.

The young swordsman appeared suddenly and disappeared just as quickly. Later, when he investigated this person, he learned that Mu Run had brought him there, so he didn't mention it to her.

"No wonder his kung fu is so beautiful, he is indeed a disciple of the Kunlun School."

"Let's go." Fu Yunchen turned and headed towards the Chongyang Prince's Mansion, a deep, unsettling look lurking in his eyes.

...

A satisfied meow came from inside the hall.

Upon hearing the voice, Mu Run knew who it was and smiled, "Cha Bao, you're quick."

Tea Baby was lying on the desk by the window, lazily stretching and flicking its fluffy tail, meowing.

"When did it arrive?" Mu Run walked over and hugged it.

Cha Bao replied, "I arrived a long time ago. Your imperial kitchen is really good; the food you make is delicious."

"So you came back first to eat. But will they let you eat?" Mu Run asked.

Huanhuan and Tuantuan ran in, each carrying a food box.

Upon seeing Mu Run, he immediately put down the food box and ran towards her.

Mu Run put Cha Bao on her shoulder, then hugged the two children, one on each side.

“Mom, we were so worried about you and my brother after you left,” Huanhuan said.

"I miss you all too." Mu Run patted their backs gently. "Have you been behaving well in the palace? Have you made Aunt Hong and Granny Cai angry?"

Tuantuan replied, "No. Where is my younger brother?"

"He had an upset stomach earlier and is in the restroom now," Mu Run said with a smile.

Huanhuan looked up at Chabao and said, "Mom, is that Chabao? Mom often teaches us to draw it."

"Yes," Mu Run replied, looking at the food box they had placed on the ground. "Do you feed it?"

"Mom, it might have eaten. Tuantuan and I wanted to know how much it could eat, so we kept feeding it."

"Yes, it's not picky about food; it'll eat whatever you give it."

"We've eaten 284 dishes so far, that's amazing!"

Mu Run remained silent, looking at Cha Bao and thinking about its enormous size. Those 284 dishes were nothing but a drop in the ocean for it. Even if it ate all the ingredients in the imperial kitchen, it might not be able to fill its stomach.

When Zhuangzhuang returned, he saw Huanhuan and Tuantuan and immediately called them brother and sister affectionately. He also gave Huanhuan and Tuantuan all the little trinkets he had gotten from Bianyun Village.

Looking at them, Mu Run suddenly thought of Fu Yunchen.

As he was about to enter the palace, she felt a little displeased and didn't let him go. But after seeing the three children, her discomfort dissipated considerably. Between husband and wife, even for the sake of the children, it seemed she shouldn't have let him leave.

"Where's Dad?" Huanhuan asked Murun.

Mu Run was thinking about Fu Yunchen when she heard Huanhuan's question. She suddenly froze and didn't know how to answer her.

Zhuangzhuang readily helped Murun answer the question, "Sister, Father has guests at the Prince's Mansion outside the palace."
