"Let's go," Fu Yunchen said.
The three of them went straight to the well in the backyard.
Just as they were about to go down the well, Fu Yunchen said to Qiao Dongzi and Bai Shalu, "Someone is coming."
Qiao Dongzi asked, "So, are we still going down?"
Bai Shalu said, "Why don't I go down first? The space down the well is quite large, there's no problem hiding. You guys stay up here, let's observe the situation first, and then follow the clues to find the source."
Fu Yunchen said, "Go."
Baishalu easily jumped down into the well again.
Qiao Dongzi and Fu Yunchen hid inside the house, keeping an eye on the outside.

Fu Yunchen said to Qiao Dongzi, "A man in black also entered the palace tonight."

Bai Shalu slowed his pace until the two dark figures were almost out of sight before saying to Fu Yunchen and Qiao Dongzi, "There's a very sinister array diagram in the dry well. They're pouring blood into the diagram, and it's all human blood."
"A formation?" Fu Yunchen stopped in his tracks. "Can you draw it?"
"Can."
Fu Yunchen narrowed his eyes slightly, listened quietly for a while, and then said, "They went into the brothel—the Liu residence. The madam gave them two jars of human blood. They asked the madam to find two virgin boys and girls, preferably twins."

Qiao Dongzi and Bai Shalu returned to their residence, changed into their official robes, and went to the palace to attend court.
The two of them yawned repeatedly. They didn't have Fu Yunchen's profound skills. They hadn't slept all night, and they were completely relaxed during the court session, so they were a little sleepy.
