Chapter 94 River God Restaurant

"They're just making a fuss over nothing, putting all these fancy things on the bill. They'll just add it to the food later. It's blatant ripping people off." Mu Run had no good feelings towards the River God Restaurant because she had just been frightened.

Fu Yunchen looked at Mu Run's disgusted face and knew she was in a bind. He glanced at the huge, ostentatious ship with its colorful lights flashing in the distance and said, "If you don't want to go, let's go back now."

Mu Run nodded in agreement.

Suddenly, the sound of a flute rang out, and Mu Run was drawn to it, looking over in that direction.

As they got closer to the ship, the light became much brighter, and the fog dissipated considerably, allowing them to see on another ship a man in a moon-colored brocade robe playing a long flute, while a beautiful woman in a purple dress looked up at him with adoration.

"Hey? That person looks kind of familiar," Mu Run said to Fu Yunchen.

Fu Yunchen had already recognized her, but seeing her staring at him intently, he felt a little displeased. He pushed off with the bamboo pole and the boat went nearly ten meters away.

Mu Run could no longer see the man clearly.

But then his memory brought back the man's identity. "Oh, I remember now, he's Xi Gongyong! The owner of Xiji Tea House in Xiangcheng."

As soon as she finished speaking, the man on the other boat looked up at her, but the sound of her flute did not stop.

"Be careful, you're disguised now. If he recognizes you, you might be in trouble," Fu Yunchen said softly to Mu Run, while pushing the bamboo pole further with his hand.

"Oh, I see." Mu Run nodded sheepishly, but her eyes still darted toward Xi Gongyong. "Why is he in the capital if he's not in Xiangcheng?"

"That's his business." Fu Yunchen didn't want to talk about this person at all.

Mu Run did want to get to know Xi Gongyong again; they were both tea merchants, and having more friends meant more opportunities. However, Fu Yunchen was now Yun Rong, and he absolutely couldn't reveal his identity, so he decided against it to avoid any unforeseen complications.

As the small boat approached the multi-storied ship, melodious music emanated from it.

"River God Restaurant." Mu Run gazed at the four large characters made of pure gold on the huge ship, and an atmosphere of extravagance emanated from it.

"I have a feeling this isn't a proper place," Mu Run said, looking at Fu Yunchen with suspicion.

Fu Yunchen: "..."

"Do you come every five days?" Mu Run asked.

"No. Last fifth day of the lunar new year, you and I were at the villa, don't you remember?" Fu Yunchen moored the boat at the ship dock, and immediately a waiter from the restaurant came over to help him moor the boat.

Mu Run thought for a moment, "It seems so. What about other times?"

“I’ve been here before, but not every fifth day,” Fu Yunchen replied.

Mu Run followed him onto the ship, where a glamorous woman with revealing clothes, a high bust, and a slender waist swayed toward them.

Her gaze completely ignored Mu Run, instead wantonly seducing Fu Yunchen, her voice so sweet it could drip honey, "Poisonous Young Master, it's been so long since you've come, I've missed you so much~"

As she spoke, her high, round breasts, as white as snow-white steamed buns, began to rub against Fu Yunchen...

But it was blocked by a slender hand!

Everyone was stunned.

Fu Yunchen and Yan Nu both looked at Mu Run.

Mu Run was also dumbfounded. Why the hell did she reach out her hand? And what's even more unbelievable is that her hand seemed to have its own consciousness and squeezed twice!

I instantly understood why men like voluptuous women!

This feel!

Indeed... uh, that's awkward!

"You! Who are you? Let's talk this out. Don't try to extort my young master." Mu Run retorted defiantly.
