Chapter 182 "The Crime Scene"

"Quickly! Get an ambulance here!"

The staff quickly picked up the walkie-talkie.

The viewers in the live stream were bewildered by what had suddenly happened. The peaceful and pleasant atmosphere in the room abruptly turned terrifying, and they all asked what was going on.

The camera shook, and Huo Qin, watching from the screen, noticed the little dumpling's face flash by and the sudden red color.

My heart skipped a beat.

But it only took a moment for Huo Qin to realize the truth before he instantly calmed down.

At this moment, Jiang Chi, his fingers trembling, brought them close to the little dumpling's nose.

The aftereffects of seasickness had already left him slightly dizzy, and under extreme tension, he became disoriented.

If... if...

Suddenly, two warm little hands grabbed his fingertips, pulled them to his nose and sniffed them hard. The little person in his arms opened his eyes as if he had come back from the dead.

Jiang Chi suddenly froze.

Chaochao blinked again and woke up.

"Brother, you're back!"

The little dumpling seemed to finally relax, and gave a silly smile.

Jiang Chi's lips turned pale, his peach blossom eyes trembling as he stared intently at her face: "…………?"

She smelled the aroma of meat buns.

"Is breakfast ready?"

Chaochao's eyes sparkled with light as she pushed away Jiang Chi's arm and tried to sit up, but as soon as she moved, she found her palms were sticky.

I lifted it up and looked—

"Ouch! I'm bleeding!"

The little dumpling's pupils dilated.

Seeing Chaochao so energetic and full of vigor, Jiang Chi regained his senses and stared intently at the "bloodstains" on her face.

I was so worried that I lost my composure; once I calmed down, I saw mistakes everywhere.

Jiang Chi touched a little bit of the red on the little dumpling's face with his fingertip, smelled it, and then turned his head stiffly to glance at the empty bowl that had been forgotten in the corner.

He recognized that bowl; it had been placed on the table before he left. "..."

Chaochao curiously imitated his actions, prying off his finger to smell it. It tasted sweet and sour, and her little brows immediately relaxed.

"Oh, it's cherry tomatoes."

She thought to herself, "No one would actually try to steal her food while she's sleeping, would they?"
