Chapter 23 Little Dumpling: I Don't Want To?

Every morning, she tries her best to breathe in the air.

No wonder adults talk and walk so fast; is it because they don't get enough oxygen when they're standing high up? Whew—

Suddenly, Chaochao remembered something and asked nervously, "Grandpa, you're Daddy's dad, so does he listen to you?"

How could that be?

Old Master Huo boasted, "Of course he'll listen to me."

Anyway, Huo Qin wasn't there, so he wouldn't know what Huo Qin said.

"Then... I don't count as climbing high, do I?"

Chaochao promised her father she wouldn't climb high places.

Old Master Huo: "No, that doesn't count."

"Hehe, that's good."

system:"……"

The little girl seemed to have completely forgotten who had just climbed onto the fountain in the garden.

Huo Qin rushed back to the Huo residence after finishing his company business, and this was the scene he saw as soon as he opened the door.

Chaochao sat on Huo Guangcheng's shoulders, his father facing sideways, laughing like a fool.

Huo Qin: "..."

What are they doing?

When Old Master Huo caught a glimpse of Huo Qin standing at the door, the smile on his face froze, and he loosened his grip on Chaochao's left hand slightly.

Chaochao's soft back arched into a bow as she struggled to lift her body upwards, trembling slightly in mid-air as she performed a perfect backbend.

She tilted her head and saw Huo Qin as well.

His little head was spinning, and he looked on with a puzzled expression.

Wait, why is Dad walking backwards in the sky?

She greeted him sweetly, "Hi, Daddy!"

"Daddy's off work? Did he fly back because he missed Chaochao so much?"

It would be even better if it flew upright.

She felt a little dizzy looking at it.

Aunt Song, who was standing to the side, was so frightened that her heart was about to jump out of her chest. Before she could rush forward, Huo Qin took a long stride and rescued Chaochao in a few quick steps.

The rescued little girl leaned on her father's shoulder, her face flushed as if she were drunk.

Huo Qin frowned and waved his five fingers in front of her eyes.

"Chao Chao, what is this?"

The little girl narrowed her big, watery eyes, hugged Huo Qin's hand, and gave his palm a big kiss with her warm little face.

"It's Chaochao's dad!"

Huo Qin: "..."

That's correct.
