"Hmm," Huo Qin replied in a flat tone.
Ten seconds later, he opened his mouth again, his breathing almost unsteady, and said, "Aren't you coming over?"
Huo Qin's indifferent yet deep gaze finally landed on the golden, fluffy creature that was half-crouched beside her, moving with her head.

It focused intently on Chaochao's head, its two little hands quickly rummaging through her hair, the movements becoming increasingly urgent, its dark eyes filled with doubt about its existence as a monkey.
How could there be no fleas?
As soon as her father finished speaking, Chaochao instantly changed from lying on her side to sitting cross-legged, but instead of coming over immediately, she deliberately turned her back. Her back was trembling, instantly reminding people of a solid hamster eager to hide its food.

Chaochao was immediately stunned by her father's selfless dedication.
