The four-and-a-half-year-old girl is as energetic as a fully charged little motor. Even after her father carried her to bed, she still squirmed in the blankets, excitedly saying again and again, "Daddy, I'm the class monitor tomorrow!"
Huo Qin: "Hmm." He raised his hand and turned off the light.
After a while, a childish voice suddenly rang out in the dimly lit bedroom.
“And you, Daddy—” Chaochao poked her head out from under the covers, “Tomorrow you’ll be the class monitor’s dad!”
Huo Qin at the time: "..."
He closed his eyes and wondered if he should be sensible and write an 800-word essay tomorrow.
