Children are forgetful.
After watching a few episodes of Peppa Pig, Chaochao completely forgot about her little worries.
Not to mention, her friends came to play with her the next day!
Upon hearing the knock on the door, Chaochao quickly finished her lunch like an autumn wind sweeping away fallen leaves, and then excitedly rushed to the door.
"Lingling! Brother Shize! I'm here~"

Huo Qin wasn't home today, so Aunt Ning had already prepared a fruit platter and placed it on the coffee table.
Chaochao brought out her candy jar, grabbed a candy, and said, "One for Lingling, one for me, one for Shize, one for me!"

Lingling scoffed softly upon hearing this, then whispered in Chaochao's ear, "Yeah, a real man like him loves donuts."
Chaochao: (⊙o⊙)
Hearing Lingling's loud whispers, Ji Shize blushed and weakly retorted, "It's different, donuts are really delicious!"
Aunt Ning, who had just come out of the kitchen, heard this and smiled.
"Perfect timing, the donuts are ready, enjoy them."
Ji Shize's eyes suddenly lit up uncontrollably.
However, because of the gazes of the two little sisters, I was too embarrassed to reach out and take it right away.
The greatest distance in the world is when a donut is in front of him but he can't eat it (╥_╥)
The next second, a soft, familiar touch came to my lips, accompanied by a rich milky aroma.
Chaochao noticed his hesitation and didn't understand why he wouldn't eat it even though he clearly loved it.
She wiped her little hands, then grabbed a piece and brought it to his mouth.
"ah--"
"Ah—" Ji Shize subconsciously opened his mouth and bit into the donut he had been longing for.
Chaochao smiled, her eyes crinkling: "Is it delicious?"
Ji Shize couldn't speak because he was chewing, but he nodded honestly.

Aunt Huo's cooking skills are actually better than his family's!
