More than ten minutes later.
The phones of Huo Qin and the others all beeped with message notifications. Back at the Guyeting Villa, Huo Qin lowered his eyes and opened a video call.
In the shaky footage, the first thing to appear is the little dumpling's face earnestly searching for the camera. Then, after trying to adjust the angle, it reveals the sky and grassland behind it, which are dyed red by the afterglow of the sunset, blurring the horizon. In the hazy light, it is impossible to tell whether the grass grows wildly and soars into the clouds, or whether the sky bends down to kiss the earth.
