The CEO's office is located on the top floor of the Huanyu Building.
Chaochao was fast asleep in Huo Qin's arms.
Huo Qin had one arm around Chaochao while typing on his laptop with the other, processing documents.
Lin Cheng, standing nearby, thought to himself, "So that's why I can't be a boss or have an angelic daughter—it's because I don't have the same arm strength as President Huo."
Holding a baby in one arm and working with the other.
As expected of President Huo.
With this thought, Lin Cheng approached and whispered, "President Huo, the meeting is about to begin."
Huo Qin looked down at Chaochao. Her breathing was deep and even, and her small mouth was slightly open, showing no signs of waking up.
Huo Qin wanted to put her on the sofa, but the little girl, still asleep, clung tightly to his sleeve with her short fingers, refusing to let go.
Huo Qin paused for a second, then scooped the little dumpling back into his arms. "Let's go."
This was absolutely the quietest meeting in the history of the Huo Group.
The higher-ups spoke in a whisper throughout, never saying aloud anything that could be presented in a PowerPoint presentation.
Mr. Huo did not ask them to do so.
But they really didn't want to wake the little princess who was still taking a nap.
Aww! Our little princess is so cute! I want to hold her in my arms, squish her, and roll her up in a ball!
A female employee sitting near the front stared at Chaochao with shining eyes, seemingly trying to charm the little girl from afar.
Chaochao's chubby little feet kicked gently, and her small, lotus-root-like hands slowly stretched upwards, "Mmm..."
She made a sound like a kitten just waking up.
Everyone in the conference room was instantly charmed.
Chao Chao stretched comfortably and then slowly opened her eyes.
She leaned against Huo Qin's chest, her view blocked by the conference table, so she was unaware that the scene had changed and that she was now surrounded by her eager older brothers, sisters, uncles, and aunts.
Her head rested in Huo Qin's arm, and as soon as she opened her eyes, she saw Huo Qin's superior jawline and smiled sweetly.
"Daddy~"
Chaochao's dad is so cute...
The employees in the meeting then saw that President Huo, who had just been sharp and cold towards them, suddenly became extremely gentle as he lowered his head and asked in a low voice.
"woke up?"
"Um!"
After her afternoon nap, Chaochao turned over and tried to sit up. Suddenly, her face froze and then turned red at a visible speed, like a bright red apple.
"What's wrong?" Huo Qin asked.
Chaochao felt a little embarrassed and didn't want to talk about it.
But the obedient Huo Chaochao still answered her father's questions truthfully.
Her voice was soft, and her big, watery eyes blinked as if afraid someone would hear, "I just farted."
The child's soft voice was exceptionally clear in the quiet meeting room, carrying directly from one end of the table to the other.
Pass this message down: The little princess farted!
The system watching: ...Let's not tell Chaochao this cruel truth.
The moment Chaochao said "bullshit," Huo Qin raised his eyes, his sharp gaze sweeping over the large group of people at the conference table.
"..."
If this image-conscious little girl found out that twenty or thirty people there knew she had just farted, she would probably be incredibly embarrassed—
...Would you like to eat an extra bowl of rice for dinner?
Fortunately, the meeting was almost over.
He raised an eyebrow, and his trusted aide Lin Cheng immediately understood his boss's meaning. He waved to the people below and mouthed, "Disperse, disperse."
The executives who had been too afraid to move or speak under President Huo's scrutiny immediately breathed a sigh of relief, stood up instantly, quietly pulled out their chairs, and left through the back door in a calm, swift, and orderly manner.
They swear they've never been this efficient during high school fire drills!
Over here, completely unaware of what was happening, Chaochao buried her face in Huo Qin's arms after finishing her sentence.
Oh dear, even fairies fart!
Anyway, Dad won't dislike her!
And her butt doesn't smell bad at all!
Thinking about it, Chaochao wrinkled her little upturned nose and sniffed.
Right? It doesn't smell bad.
...Huh?
Why does it smell a little nice?
Is she really a fairy, even her farts smell sweet?
Or is it her favorite peach flavor?
Chao Chao was shocked.
She tried to sit up, but Huo Qin pulled her back into his arms.
"What's wrong, Dad?"
At this time, not everyone had left the conference room.
Huo Qin: "I'm cold, give me another hug."
"Oh." Upon hearing this, Chaochao stopped moving and obediently lay in her father's arms.
After everyone had left, including Lin Cheng, Huo Qin helped the little girl up and let her sit on his lap.
Wow! It's peach pudding!
Chaochao's big eyes instantly lit up like little light bulbs.
Huo Qin had already ordered people to prepare this, and Lin Cheng brought the pudding up before leaving.
Chaochao picked up the small ladle, scooped out a big spoonful of pudding, and ate it in one bite with a "whoosh".
It was only then that Chaochao realized something was wrong.
She looked around.
"Huh? How did we get here?"
"The benches here are comfortable."
Huo Qin brushed it off without batting an eye.
Yeah?
Chaochao's confusion lasted only a moment, and she was now fully immersed in her pudding-eating project.
After Chaochao finished eating, he smacked his lips with lingering satisfaction.
Huo Qin's laptop beeped.
Grandpa Huo sent a video call.
As soon as the video call connected, Old Master Huo frowned when he saw Huo Qin's face and waved his hand dismissively, "Why is it you? Let me see Chaochao."
Huo Qin sneered, his tone indifferent, "You called my number, of course it's me."
