"Brother Yushen, I'm all better now. Did you say anything to them?"
Full of energy, Chaochao pushed open the door and entered, her bright eyes blinking as she looked at the boy.
"Um."
I've already told them to shut up.
Pei Yushen responded softly, his face showing no change in emotion, but the trembling fingers hanging by his wheelchair betrayed his true feelings.
Jiang Chi, who came in later, glanced at Pei Yushen, who was standing near the door. The young man had his head slightly lowered, making it difficult to see his expression.
Jiang Chi inwardly scoffed, thinking, "You've really gotten off easy, kid."
Hearing the boy's confident answer, Chaochao had no doubts and guessed that Brother Yushen must have given them a good talking-to. Curious, she peeked inside.
The ground was soaking wet, and the three people, half-soaked, huddled together listlessly.
Water droplets were still rolling off the cotton and linen hood.
Chaochao closed her eyes uncertainly and then opened them again: "...?"
She only left for one day, how could there be such a flood?
Noticing the little dumpling's puzzled look, Pei Yushen calmly raised his eyes and said, "They accidentally knocked over the bucket."
Upon hearing this, the bodyguard who was about to claim the item silently retreated to his original position.
Jiang Chi's gaze swept over the composed young man with an ambiguous meaning.
Oh dear, is this a bucket or a showerhead? It can drench you from head to toe.
"You can do that?" A hint of sympathy had just appeared in Chaochao's surprised eyes when she immediately extinguished it with her ruthless nature. These three villains didn't deserve any sympathy!
The three men, who had just been fighting fiercely, were now limp and exhausted on the ground, like stranded, rotting shrimp.
“It’s getting late,” Jiang Chi glanced at his phone. “Let’s go home.”
As he left the men's restroom, he asked his bodyguards to untie the ropes binding their hands.
The door closed, and the men's restroom became completely quiet.
However, less than three seconds later, "click—"
The door opened again.
Chaochao peeked out furtively, then sneaked in. The two bodyguards following behind her, seeing how cautious the young lady was, also became very quiet.
Then the scene shifts to a small-time thief leading two big-time thieves, crouching low as they sneak into the toilet...
Chaochao ran up to the three exhausted junior high school students. They hadn't had time to take off their hoods yet and were still recovering from the fierce battle.
This also made it easier for the little dumpling to do bad things after it left.
Chaochao secretly felt resentful that she hadn't been able to beat up the three bad guys because of Pei Yushen.
I won't let you off so easily!
Watch me spin around like this, up, down, left, and right...
The instructor repeatedly praised the system, saying, "That's exactly right! How can Chaochao be so smart!"
Chaochao was beaming with pride from the praise, her chubby fingers busily fiddling around. But when she got close to Pumpkin Bro, who was actually a PE student, her expression changed drastically: "Ugh, it smells awful!"
How could you launch a sneak attack like that! That's utterly unsportsmanlike!
Caught off guard, Chaochao blurted out what she had just heard.
"Who's there?!"
Startled, Qiu Zhewen sat up abruptly, his head turning wildly in search of the source of the sound.
The fat man groaned weakly, "Help! Someone, please come and save us..."
While pinching her little nose, Chaochao frantically fanned the air with her hand, breathing rapidly for several seconds before finally being rescued from the terrifying biochemical gas.
She said angrily, "Even if you scream your lungs out, no one will come to save you!"
The system covered its mouth and burst into tears.
Waaaaah, my sweet little one actually uttered that classic line in place of the main villain!!!
"...It's you?"
Qiu Zhewen could easily recognize the child's voice. If she hadn't appeared, there wouldn't have been so much trouble today, and they wouldn't have suffered such a big setback!
"Yes, that's me!" Chaochao took out her mask, put it on, held her breath, and squatted down again. So close! She couldn't give up!
Qiu Zhewen didn't pay attention to the child's severe nasal voice. He tried to pull the burlap sack off his head, but the knot was tied too tightly and he couldn't take it off for a while, so he simply leaned against it.
"Pei Yushen isn't here, is he?"
Once the job was finally finished, Chaochao immediately slipped away, frowning and full of suspicion, saying, "What do you want to do? I won't let you take Brother Yushen away."
As she spoke, she quickly pulled out her small twig from her bag, and holding it tightly in her hand immediately boosted Chaochao's confidence.
The familiar sound of branches slicing through the air rang out, and the startled fat man immediately buried his head in the mop sink, wailing, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, waah, I'm sorry, okay...?"
Qiu Zhewen didn't want to pay attention to the embarrassing thing next to him anymore. "Looks like he's not here..."
The boy's sinister laughter gradually rose: "You probably don't know this..."
"Your dear brother Yu Shen stabbed a classmate in the neck with a steel fork at school, causing the classmate to spend three months in the hospital..."
"That's why he was expelled from school."
Upon hearing this, the system immediately understood that these were plot points not found in the original book.
About a year ago, I remember what the situation was like...
If the system could access Qiu Zhewen's memories, it would see a classroom filled with playful laughter, where a boy in a wheelchair calmly wipes the lunch utensils. Before the rest of the class could react, he plunges a steel fork straight into his deskmate's neck, freezing the boy's arrogant smile on his face.
Blood gushed out, soaking his palms and splattering his indifferent face. The whole class fell into a horrified silence, with only the boy clutching his neck and falling to the ground groaning in pain.
